large-tree4 Kuro followed Mephlius at a slightly slower pace, he was curious to see what a veteren hunter looked like. He had expected something with an auro of courage, bravery, and pride, an image about to be crumbled. ((... you already know what he looks like. He's the one who knocked you out))

Gail worked fervently to save Tokeru, giving him blood transfusions, and operating to remove the bullet while still keeping him alive. It had just missed his heart, but still punctured a lung.
In the entire affair, and with Tokeru still unconscious, she forgot to anesthetize him.
Tokeru groaned and whispered two words. "Stop Edith."
They were barely audible, but anyone in the operating room could hear it.
She cursed and had one of the orderlies quickly inject him with a sedative, and another to shoo the hunters out of the room.

Kuro waited at the door, looking in to see if how the operation was going. "It looks like he`s going to be fine. We should let him rest for a while after the operation." He paused, looked at Mephilius," in case i`m attacked, where are my weapons. You see, now i`m not only being stalked by lycans, but now vampires." He sat down on a chair in a nearby waiting lobby.

"Kuro... you're in one of the safest places in the world. You won't need your weapons. Besides, you're in the middle of what is currently an enemy base. I can't give you your weapons." Vosa turned to Tokeru. "Sir, yes sir. I'll go stop her." He walked over to Kuro's room, and saw Amnity. "Amnity, Tokeru's been shot. Edith ran off, and I'm going to go track her. I'll text you if I find her." With that, he ran off.

"Um, okay." He called as he watched him as he walked away. "But my weapons make things interesting. Oh well, better enjoy my time until i`m kicked out." He said in a pessimistic tone.

Vosa ran back in, and found Tokeru's room to be locked off. "Damn... When he wakes up, tell him I did what he asked." He went to a doctor to have his nose aligned.

Amnity ran her fingers through her hair in frustration. Her master was having surgery to remove the bullet. Now she was even more fearful that Master Edith and Mephlius are looking for the person that managed to almost kill Tokeru. She laced her fingers around her cross necklace and began praying for their safety.
Minutes seemed like hours. Is Madam Edith back? she asked herself, a bit worried for her safety. Suddenly she stopped pacing, Will Mephlius be okay?Her heart sank at the thought of him being injured, possibly killed.
To ease her nerves Amnity stayed in the infirmary to assist some of the nurses and doctors with other patients. One doctor asked her to get an ice packet for a patient that broke his nose though she didn't get to see who it was. When she came into the room she almost dropped the ice packet, "Oh My God Mephlius!!" she gasped, running to his side, "What the hell happened?! Where's Madam Edith?! Are you going to be alright?!" she asked frantically.

Kuro sat in his chair laughing, even after Mephlius left. He knew it was a serious injury, but at the moment, he needed something to laugh at.

I just have to get it back in line. But it's really annoying... I can't smell anything." He showed a sarcastic look of distress.

But Amnity didn't find it so funny, she began pacing around like a worried mother, "Just fine!? Mephlius you could have died!! What if Madam Edith threw a knife at you?! What if the person that attacked Master Tokeru attacked HER or YOU!?!?!" she ranted frantically. Tears ran down her face, but not of fear, out of utter relief. But still, just thinking about them getting into much more trouble almost made her bust a tear gland.

Mephlius looked concerned. He stood up, and put his hands on her shoulder to stop her from pacing. "Conveniently, she had run out of knives throwing them at her target. Not that it matters, I already told you, Am. I'm not going to live in fear. If the person had attacked me, I would have fought back. If I hadn't known who I was saving, I would have hit her back. I'm going to be fine... are you?" He was more concerned about her stress than his health.

Amnity looked at the ground, wiping her tears away quickly. There was no reason to be worried now, they were both fine and that's what mattered.
"Yes, I'll be alright, it's jus-" she looked up at Mephlius and stopped. She couldn't help but start chuckling alittle, his nose wasn't THAT bad, but it was a bit askew. Still, once she saw his nose she began laughing harder and louder, "Hahaha!! You should, you should see your nose!!" she laughed hysterically. Stop laughing!!! It's RUDE!! she scolded herself, but still. Tears of sadness and worry were now replaced with tears of happiness and relief.

Mephlius smiled through the ridicule. "That's the Amnity I wanted to see." A doctor walked in, and did an X-ray. ((You leave for a second)) He saw what adjustments needed to be made, and made them. Then he wrapped Mephlius' nose in a Bandage, holding it in place. The bones had already begun to connect by the time Amnity and Kuro could come back into the room.
