Xavier too was glad that everybody was back by the cabins so that they weren't able to see the two of them. He didn't voice that, however, and just smiled with his arms wrapped around her in a backwards hug. "You ready?" He asked her.
He was hoping nobody would decide to come into the barn at this hour, whatever it was. He remembered there was a mother cat and maybe five kittens, but they were up in the loft where they were hardly ever seen. Well, mother cats could be very protective.

"Of course I'm ready but I'm really cold right now," Summer said to him leaning back against him and shivering. "We should go to the hayloft it could be warm up there." she suggested to him as they entered the barn.

"No problem," said Esmeralda, looking relieved. "I just wanted to be sure that you knew that...you know...if he runs away from you, it's not your fault. Probably." Smiling, looking a bit more like her old self, she said lightly, "So are you nervous yet? Pressure's on and all."
If Kahlilia wasn't, thought Esmeralda, she would be very surprised. It was weird to be confronted by your crush's sister. That she knew from personal experience.
Roman stepped out of Kelly's stall, closing the door behind him. He could hear voices coming towards the barn, but thought nothing of it - and by the time Summer and Xavier actually entered the barn, when Roman certainly would have thought something of it, the boy had entered Phoenix's stall to check on the stallion one last time before going to bed.

"Okay," Xavier said. He helped her put Shadow back in her stable, and then led her towards the hayloft. He was still checking for anyone who might come in, feeling a tiny bit wary, but he wasn't going to admit that to Summer. Holding her hand, he helped her up the ladder into the hayloft, chest puffed out.
Kahlilia returned the look of relief when she saw that Esmeralda was returning to her normal self. Then, she flashed a small smile and said, "Yeah, I guess so." She blushed a little when she admitted that, but hopefully nothing bad would come out of it.

Esmeralda only chuckled. "Yeah. Been there. I never thought I'd be the overprotective cow sister, but I guess you never know how life'll turn out." More seriously, she continued, "I like you, Lily. I think you'll be good for him. You won't let him take things too seriously. So have fun. Let him learn, okay? It'll be great."
The door to Phoenix's stall clattered as Roman let himself out, relieved. There was no heat in the horse's legs, and he seemed completely pleased with himself and ready to go.
It would be interesting to see how Kahlilia dealt with him.

Summer climbed up into the hayloft and smiled at him noticing the way his chest was and then she poked his chest when they both where up there.

Xavier wasn't able to keep his chest puffed out when Summer poked it and so he let it return to normal and laughed. "Hey, no fair." He told her, poking her belly and then starting to tickle her. Excitement was growing back into his body and becoming bigger and bigger, like a feeding monster.
"Thats true." Kahlilia agreed, calming down and smiling. She was sitting down with her hands intertwined on her lap, but now she brought them down to her knees casually. "Thank you - I'll be sure to keep that in mind." She was absorbing the information and treasuring it deep in her heart, where she could remember it and eventually apply it into her life. "Thank you so much," She added quietly, smiling.

Summer couldn't help but laugh, she then ran to the other side of the hayloft to escape from Xavier's hands, "You already know how ticklish I can be," she said eyeing him in case he came after her. She was smiling then her eyes ran up and down his body noting that he was getting excited and smirked, when her eyes returned to his. Then she said in challenge, "Come get me if you can, X, baby," she used his nickname then winked at him.

Xavier stood up when he heard her challenge. He walked over casually to her, then suddenly tackled her to the ground. Smirking, he stayed where he was on top of her and took her hands in what was either a loving gentle way or a display of dominance.

Summer stretched under him and smiled, "You cheated again." She then tried pulling her hands free to show she wouldn't easily give up. "And what are you trying to prove by holding my hands?" she asked him quietly. She then tried to buck him off of her unexpectedly.

Xavier just laughed and shook his head. When she tried to buck him, however, he backed off with at first a very confused and hurt look in his eyes. He seemed to shrug that off though and, standing up slowly gave her another smirk. "I dont know," He replied to Summer after hesitating. "Whatever you think I was doing I might have been." He said jokingly, crossing his arms.

Roman heard them up in the hayloft after a few minutes of wondering what the hell all that creaking was. His eyes widened slightly as he figured out what had to be going on.
Oh. s**t. I'll just...let myself out.
"Night, boy," he whispered to Phoenix. As he slipped out the barn door, Phoenix let out a piercing whinny after him.
Esmeralda grinned. "He'll be here any minute, probably. Oh, one more thing?" Giving Kahlilia a very serious look, she teased, "Don't hit on him when I'm around. It might make me sick."

"Really?" Kahlilia thought out loud, tilting her head. Realizing that she was just being spacy and quite dumb, she gave her head a playful shake to clear her mind - and tossle her hair all over the place. Even if it was secured in a ponytail, it still was its own spirit in some strange way. God, what a wierd thought.
Kahlilia wasn't able to stifle a small giggle. However, she straightened in her position and said, "I promise."
