"Yeah, pretty well." Renatus replied smiling like Lucinda. "How was your night?" he asked politely.

Renatus stepped forwards and closed his hotel room, locking it. "I would love to." Renatus said smiling.

"Then let's go," Lucinda said, delicately slipping her hand into his.

Renatus blushed slightly, but regardless led Lucinda out of the inn to find a restaurant. The sun glared on his eyes, and he had a hard time seeing upon leaving the inn.

Lucinda had to shield her eyes as well when they left. "What do you feel like?" she asked.

"Me?" Renatus asked, still not used to having choices in company. "Oh, I don't have a preference. Whatever you would like."

"If you're sure," Lucinda said and saw a cafe. She thought that was as good as anything. She walked towards it.

Renatus followed Lucinda submissively, still gently holding her hand. He noticed the cafe, she was heading to, and looked through a window. There were plenty of people inside, so he figured that it would be good.

Lucinda lead Renatus inside. Then she went to a table and released his hand to sit.

Renatus sat at the table as well. He leaned forwards, resting his head on his hand, and his elbow on the table. He looked around the room, but his eyes rested on Lucinda, of whom he began to gaze at.

Lucinda sat with her back straight and her hands folded neatly in her lap. She picked up the menu that was on the table and quietly began to read what there was to eat. She didn't notice Renatus staring at her.

Renatus shook his head to clear his thoughts, then picked up the menu and browsed its contents.
