Right-oh then. Squiff here. Feel free to mangle my name in any way that appeals to you. I'm nineteen [only just], living on the west coast of Canada, and going to school. I spend most of my time reading, to the point where my books have escaped their shelves and are steadily creeping in a wave of paper over the floor of my room.

I ought to be getting ready for work, but instead I am skipping rocks of information into the ocean of the net, specifically this guild. Eventually, I'd like to write or edit for a living, so if you have a story that needs to be beta'd, send it my way! I love reading other people's amateur work. I also play the piano and like to get sheet music off the net.

First off, this is the first guild invitation I've accepted in over 9000 years.

But yeah, my real name...is not important.

I'm a freshman Landscape Architecture major, possibly getting a minor in Rangeland Ecology and Management.
It means I bring humans and nature together in a way that benefits both the environment and humans the most. Designing parks in a city is just one example of what I do with my major, protecting our prairies and grasslands is what the minor calls for.

So, you must be thinking that I'm a bit of an environmentalist.
Well I'm not
....
I'm a full-fledged ECO-WARRIOR!!!
I'm vegetarian, I'm highly finicky about how much waste I produce, I grow organic vegetables at an on-campus community garden, and I'm the second in command of an operation to bring more localized agriculture to the community.

The health and welfare of our planet is my life!
So, while I do talk about other things, you'll often find me discussing matters relating to our environment.
