He gave Io a look with that "real" mother thing, having cought Ice's flinch. Sei gave Io a light bat on the shoulder.
"Ok then.... he's both, in a since....?" Trin shrugged. "He can stay uncle, since I didn't do much of anything to raise him, after all....." She blinked. Was she hurt by that fact? She wasn't sure....... Oh well, What's done is done, if anything they could become friends, at least and she could forc- er... ask him to help her out in the ruins.

Aricin_Shadow Aricin laughs a little, "My parents were over protective of their youngest child... you know that whole 'Heir and a Spare' saying right? Well I was the spare, I had the Nanny because my parents wanted the reasurence that I would be okay, and the time to attend parties... I wasn't alloud to do much, so I read a lot, eventually getting a head in my studdies... and well I got my degree in Botony before I was eightteen, and Medicine within the next year... I worked in an orphanage until my parents asked me to do some work off world for my fathers business... Thats where I met Trivii and Letani (Priestess) Caimrie... and now years later I'm here on Masquerade." He smiles at her and begins wading through boxes again... "Trivii, Caimrie, and I made up an interesting team..." He shuts up again for a minute, but before Kata can talk he says... "Anything you would like to learn about in particular?" Kataio suddenly felt as if she were intruding into Aricin's life. "I..." She didn't know what she was going to say so she turned and rummaged into some more boxes. "Did you find anything that would help us carry these things? You said something about maybe making something." Kata started to ramble and wasing really noticing what she was digging through.

Kataio F Kataio suddenly felt as if she were intruding into Aricin's life. "I..." She didn't know what she was going to say so she turned and rummaged into some more boxes. "Did you find anything that would help us carry these things? You said something about maybe making something." Kata started to ramble and wasing really noticing what she was digging through. Aricin gives Kata a look... momentarily puzzled... wondering if he said something to make her uncomfortable... but in response to her question he swings his gaze around... "There are only 5 boxes right?" If we can find a stretcher, we could load them on that... If not then we could make a litter using a couple poles and some canvas or rope... Rope would probable make less work for us though..."

"I don't think I saw any rope on my side. I do have some large bags back over there." She pointed half heartedly at some boxes near where she had started. Kataio sighed and looked him in the eyes her head tilted a bit. "What else do we need? I mean tweezers, needles and such, but anything else you can think of?" Her tone was all business.

Aricin looks at Kata.. "IV starts should be an essential if we can find them... and they're intact." Reaching out he grabs her by the wrist... "Kata is everything okay? Did I say something to upset you?"

Kata looks down at her wrist and then up at Aricin. "I- Oh bother. I am sorry. You did nothing wrong Aricin." She laughed a bit sounding strained. Kataio patted his hand lightly and then looked away from his eyes. "Don't you worry Aricin I am sure that we will find something that will help us further." She changed which side the weight was placed quite a few times as she kicked herself for seeming upset. It's not like she liked him right?

Aricin slowly lets go of her.... not quite believing her... "Yeah... I'm sure we'll find something...." Shifting a box he sees a stretcher... more advanced than canvas and wood but definately a stretcher... "Got Transportation handled...." Hauling it out he shows her.. "Stretcher, Litter, whatever you wanna call it... Do you wanna take this stuff back and come scavange more after we unpack?"

Her hands were cold and had started to shake a bit. "We should take this load then come back and see if there is more." Kata clenched her hands tight and furrowed her brow. She let out a light sigh and turned her back on Aricin trying to gain composure. "W-we could just bring the boxes back then un pack them after t-the second trip." Kata gulped maybe it was the meds... yeah the meds were making her crazy?

Aricin nods quietly... "I concure... if your sure your okay." Opening the stretcher he sets it on the ground and begins to shift things onto it..

Kataio gulped lightly and lifted her head to look at the ceiling of the storage unit. "Yeah I'll be fine" She turned seemingly happy, you know the bright eyes big smile look every flight attendant has. Kata reached down and started to help move the boxes onto the stretcher. "When we get back I will show you something. It's a supprise."

Kata rolls her eyes. "Medical supprise. We are going to run your first test. Though I will be doing all the work this time. If for any reason I pass out this should be one of the first test you try though." She stares down at the now box lifting tool. "Now what do we do with it?" Kataio asks him frankly.

Aricin nods contemplatively... wondering what she could be talking about while in response to her question.. he shifts to the side of the stretcher to find the lock, releasing it to allow springs to lift it, so all they have to do is re-lock it and guid it... "Alright... glad you grabbed the office stuff, so I can take notes..." Glancing at her he grins... "Humanity is lazy by nature..." Gestures to the wheels..

She laughed some and walked up beside him. "The test might take a mite. We should close up the storage unit for now. Did you get everything you need out of there for this trip?" Kataio looked around making sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

Aricin looks doubtful... "I think so... For basic tests, I thik I have everything though.... lets go ahead and lock up.." He guides the stretcher out of storage, allowing Kata to lock up...
