"I simply don't find excitement girls in combat." Nexo said as while it was a pleasure to see such a thing, he wondered why people made it a pleasure. Nexo raised his left hand as it went towards behind him as it grabbed a blade's hilt and raised it until it was at an angle pointed at Maikeru. "Show me what you got." Nexo requested in a calm tone as he took a defensive stance.

Their blades clashed as sparks flew from the collision of blades. "What was it like?" Lila asked with curiousity as she never knew what exactly the place was. She turned slightly to see the other two beginning to fight as one of them had apparently asked them to join. Jumping back a bit, Lila raised her blade as she quickly led its descend downward to Reikai.

Reikai brought her zanpakuto up to parry Lila's attack. "Dark." She admitted. "It was a bit creepy, and there was only one tree in the middle." She pushed against the attack. "There's this glowing lake of dark fire and everything's covered up with a dark fog..."

"Just to warn you I may be a little distracted." Maikeru swung at Nexo's sword arm with the serrated dagger, and followed up with a strike to the abdomen with the parrying dagger. This attack would be doubly effective for a few reasons. The low stance allows him to put all of his speed and strength from his legs into the strikes as well, and by making the true attack with the parrying dagger, and using the serrated dagger as a distraction to keep Nexo's sword occupied.

Nexo brought his blade at the dagger, however he was aware of the incoming strike with the dagger. "Bakudo #8, Seki." Nexo chanted as the right wrist of Nexo formed a shield of reiatsu as it moved to his chest region which would protect and repel whatever came towards the shield. Nexo jumped back as he need space, however this need was temporary as he dashed forward with a slash vertically striking him upwards.

Maikeru allowed his strike to be redirected. Still in the rediculously low stance he crossed both daggers in front of himself to catch Nexo's blade at the cross-section. Still keeping Nexo's blade trapped down low, Maikeru took a step towards Nexo, keeping his own shorter blades effective while marginalizing the threat of Nexo's Zanpakutou. Then he smiled and headbutted Nexo.

"Sounds fun." Lila said with a small smile as she was pushed back a bit before she brought her blade behind her. She raised her left hand and gave the signal for Reikai to continue the battle as she was simply waiting for any sign of a counter-attack.

Reikai shrugged. "Not really..." She nodded and darted forwards again, bringing her zanpakuto down from above in a powerful blow.

Nexo took the headbutt with a gusto as his head lurched back with his head moved back into place as he looked at Maikeru with a small drip of blood coming from his forehead. "Barbaric aren't you?" Nexo asked as he brought his leg up and tried to kick off Maikeru and get his blades free.

Lila brought herself on her left knee while her right heel dug into the ground as Lila brought her blade up, keeping the flat side to block the attack as she used the ground to cushion Reikai's blow. Raising her blade, she attempted to push off Reikai so her sword could be free to strike.

Maikeru grinned, "Barbaric?!? No not at all. I've just had this danged headache all day!" Maikeru let himself get kicked back, using the momentum to flip backwards several feet. With that he threw his serrated dagger high in the air, for flashy coolness and the minor chance it would distract Nexo, and whipped a weighted dart at Nexo's knee. As soon as he released he held his arm up theatrically to catch the falling dagger.

"Quite the joker aren't you?" Nexo asked as he felt himself being freed for a moment as he watched Maikeru carefully. He watched him throw his weapon up into the air, however he didn't care as he assumed it was a miscalculation on Maikeru's part. Nexo ran to the left side to dodge the dart as it ripped through his hakama slightly. Nexo ran towards Maikeru and brought his blade above him and slashed downward in a diagonal strike to stop Maikeru from catching anything.

"Me a joker?!? Please.......Ok yes I am a joker but only on alternating Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays." Maikeru didn't have enough time to fully parry, block, or dodge the slash. He was able to redirect on a more shallow and horizontal path. A thin red line of fire ran from below his left armpit all the way across his chest. He danced back as the serrated blade fell from the sky, not intending to catch it but allow it to slice at Nexo, who without the intense reflexes for such things that Maikeru had gained from years of experience and training would not be able to catch.
Several yards away now Maikeru put on a comically intimidating face, took a wide low stance and held his remaining dagger with both hands as if it were a greatsword. "Your turn!" he said brightly momentarily dropping out of character before returning to the angry and intimidating face from before.

Reikai was unexpectedly pushed back and lost balance for a split second. She slid back, trying to regain her footing, or at least find something to stop her movements. She used her zanpakuto to slow her down by stabbing the ground as she moved back.

Lila raised her blade back for a moment as she tried to gain the best accuracy for her next attack. In a swift fluid motion, the blade flew from he hand as it was dancing like a buzz-saw towards Reikai. However, Lila was running behind as if she was trying to grab onto the sword, however she disappeared afterward. Lila had actually ducked under the blade as she was sliding to strike Reikai from under while the blade struck above.
