Edward wandered over to the twins, his god children. "Well Avarice, whatever it is you decide, know you have my support." Edward picked up Mina. "I bet she will have a strong kick in the future." he said while examining her.

Avarice nodded, then looked to Kirai. "Do you know of anyone? That could get into Lanius' stronghold without getting caught? We're still lacking men...significantly." He sighed, removing his glasses and rubbing his temple. God, was this tiring. "Then its a truce between us, my friend...for now."

Mina made a toothless smile and reached out, resting her hand against Edward's face. Mimicry smiled. "She likes you." She whispered. "It's nice to have you back, Edward." Gage laid on his stomach, watching them and cried out, also wanting attention. Demitri hopped. "Can I hold him?" Mim nodded, setting Demitri on the bed and setting Gage carefully in his lap. "This is Gage." She said, then motioned the the baby Edward held. "And that's Mina."

"For now..." Edward agreed. "Though I was thinking something a little more permanent." Edward sat down next to Mim, still holding Mina. "I mean, are you not tired of the constant fighting between us? Personally its tiring, and I think that we have so much to gain from actually becoming friends here."

Everyone grew quiet, even the children. Avarice looked up. "Excuse me, but could you repeat that?" He was honestly in a state of shock. Avarice was only teasing when he said Edward was his friend...
Demitri looked sick. "You guys...aren't gonna kiss and make-up are you?" Avarice smirked, getting a devious idea. "Oh, Edward. Yes, we can be friends...best friends." Winking to Kirai, he kissed Edward's cheek, grinning. "What a lovely friendship this is starting out to be." Demitri looked sicker. "Ew!" Mimicry just fell over in laughter.

Kirai stood up and smiled. "Lovely! I have just the outfits for you two when you make your vows-, so, dresses or suits?"

Edward swung hard, nailing Avarice in the jaw. "I said friends, not gay lovers your sick b*****d." Edward would have done more but he still had Mina in his hands, and he really didn't want to ruin this one chance at an actual true alliance with Avarice.

Avarice was twisted backwards, but merely laughed. "Ah, dresses'll do just fine, love." He said, answering Kirai. Mimicry continued to laugh, sprawled across the floor, while Gage and Mina watched them with looks that said, "What are they doing?" Mina, however, giggled when Edward hit Avarice.

Kirai walked over to Avarice, and put her hand on his shoulder. "Well, you already belong to me, dear. However, it is a shame I don't get to see Edward in a dress-" She let out, then slapped her hand against her mouth and stepped behind Avarice. "Sorry! I didn't mean to let that slip out-" Of course, she sort of was joking.

Edward handed Mina off to her mother, then walked out to the hall way mumbling. "Get me in a dress... here we are fighting a war and all they can do is make jokes."

Avarice chuckled, resting his head on Kirai's shoulder. "My love," he began, "you are what we call, a closet perv." He laughed heartily. Mimicry rolled her eyes. "Spoil sport." She mumbled, before following after him, still cradling Mina against her chest. "Come on, Edward. Times are hard, we need something to lighten the mood..."

Kirai lightly put her hand on his cheek, and said, "Well now, my only fettish is with guys in dresses. You darling, are attractive with such a wonderful personality, to overcome this little problem of mine." She kissed his head, then mumbled, "However, calling me a perv. for it is not exactly nice."

Edward looked to Lydia. "Sorry if I having a hard time digesting this. You of all people who know me the best know how I hated that man. After all you were there with me that night with tyler." Edward motioned for Mina again. Mina brought a smile to his face no matter what. "I think you are my favorite. Going to look just like your mom when you grow up."

Avarice took her hands, kissing her wrist, then her palms. "I'm sorry, my dear. I did not mean to offend. If you'd like, I'd gladly embarass myself and wear a dress." Demitri watched him. "Your serious." Avarice sighed and nodded. "Yes, I would gladly admit...that I am whipped."

Mimicry smiled, planting a kiss to Mina's head. "She'll be beautiful." Then, she focused back to the matter at hand. "Edward, I know it'll be difficult, but you had the balls to come here and ask for help. Don't waste your pride because of a few jabs at humor...no matter how disturbing."

Kirai could not help but smile. "Dear, I wouldn't force you to do that... in public, anyways." She added the last part, trying to keep from laughing while saying it so dead-serious in tone.
