"Caleb just said he didn't want to come. I don't have a problem with you coming here, but who's 'we'?" she asked, grabbing a black dress out of her closet that she hadn't worn for some time. It was the dress she had worn to sneak into a HEC hosted event to get information for Faction. Hopefully it was dressy enough, since it was the only dress she had.

Rick chuckled lightly. He gave a signal and the group he was with gave a friendly gentlemanly "HI!" He laughed. "Heh, that's who I mean. Look out your window." The limo he was riding in pulled up. The way he was dressed now easily made him look like a butler among the people he was with, but she wouldn't be able to see through the tinted windows at that high of an altitude. "Wave hi, won't ya?"

Cat had just changed into teh dress as he told her to go to the window. She blinked and did as he said. She wasn't expecting to see the limo. Dumb founded she waved. "Why is there a limo?" she asked in a state of almost shock. She put him on Speaker phone and went to pull her hair back.

"We're going somewhere fancy, and we're going in style" He gave a goofy happy chuckle. "Haven't you ever wanted to go to one of those exclusive clubs? It's a town just down some from here, I thought it would be a great experience. The air there is wonderful, fresh, great smelling, it's really something to behold." He smiled waiting for her response.

"It sounds like a lot of fun, but I've never actually been to something like that before, I'm a street kid." she joked. She finished getting ready and went to Caleb's room and knocked. "Caleb, I'm leaving."
Caleb looked up from his book and stared at Cat, then laughed a bit teasingly, knowing that his sister was out of her element and probably really nervous.
"Hush up, you." Cat said walking over and rustling his hair before giving him a hug. "Behave while I'm gone, call me if you need anything."
Caleb smiled and hugged back. "Yep, have fun."

The window rolled down. Rick also was out of his element. He looked a lot like a butler, now that she could see. "Cat! You look great!" He looked her up and down, smiling. "You'll fit right in." Secretly, he thought. Hadn't she worn that same dress before? I believe I've seen it...I think through the cameras. Much better in person. He wouldn't let a thought like that phase him, though.

"I really hope so, cause I sort of feel out of place." She admitted. She fidgeted a bit in the dress. It fit her well, and all, she just wasn't use to wearing it. "You looking pretty dashing your self by the way." she smiled.

"Ha, thanks. I'm glad you think so." He smiled. "Get in, huh? Anyway, I've never really been out and about to anything special like this. A person with me with having so much to hold down doesn't have time for socializing. Power and Energy, studies, learning, even sometimes teaching. You wouldn't believe how many of our piers don't know things that they teach in common school. But enough about that, today's a day to just relax and enjoy. Driver would you take us away once she's in and fastened?" Through the window, a head turned, and nodded. "Very good, sir." He immitated a butler when he said that. He had looks to match well enough, he thought.

Cat nodded and climbed into the limo. She couldn't remember the last time she actually rode in a car, much less a limo. She was so use to using her skates as a means of transportation. "What school is it that you go to? Maybe I"ll come sit in one day that you teach."

"Oh, no I don't teach. When I said that, I meant just sharing knowledge with friends. Most peers you meet are uneducated for the most part. They go to school, learn the bear minimum, and ignore the rest, and forget whatever they don't know. They aren't interested in learning things. You, I would guess, are someone who is genuinely interested. But I suppose I'm no different if I have to say all, because I have my one select specialize field of study, and I know a lot about it. Anything else, maybe not. I know Earth's first president, George Washington, and possibly the year the Declaration was signed, 1877, but I'll tell you things about electrons you might never have learned."

"Heh, I don't know where to start! I could talk all day about it! But...I'd much rather talk about...you, this fine morning." The limo started in motion. "My teacher of Power and Energy was a fanatic about cars, so we learned much about transportation. We learned quite interesting things, like how to make alcohol, being a flammable substance that could be burned. They tried using it as a fuel on Earth in their cars. What about you? What's your life like? I'll grant that a lot of the stuff they teach is irrelavent to modern life, so I'm sure it's okay and possible to live good life without being in schools. But what differences does it really make in your life for example?"

Cat shrugged. "I like knowing things. It's part of the reason I read so many books. I grew up in an orphanage and on the streets, and quite honestly that alone makes some people look down on you. So I figured that if I educated myself, the next time someone looked down on me because they had a 'better' life then me, then at least I could say I was smarter then they were." She was fidgeting some what again. "I taught Caleb the same philosophy, hence why he was so excited to go to the library."

"Great philosophy. I have more of a sympathy for those in lower standards of living, like yourself. But then again, not like yourself, because are you really living in lower standards if you're happy with yourself? I think not. I envy those types of people: I look up to them. That includes you."
