She looked up, seeing him there was enough to make her cry again. He'd been gone a week and she was about to break. She reached up to him from where she was kneeling.

His heart ached seeing his love like this, he knelt beside her and took her in his arms in a long wanted hug. He hugged her tight and nuzzled her, close to tears himself....he couldn't speak at the moment he could only hug her and hold her in his arms

His scent was nothing short of heaven to her and his arms the solace she needed. He was sanctuary and she had sought it feverishly.

She trembled, trying to sink into him, wanting to be away from all the pain. She wished to wake and all this be a nightmare.

He felt her trembled against him, all he could do was cover then in his wings. He kissed the back of her neck, trying to help calm her

He knew she knew what he was really in but he didn't want to say anything incase she might accidently start crying* We can't do much more then you've been doing beloved....I'm proud to be the husband of such a woman like yourself.

But you're still here though, in light of it all you are still here and watching over Kai and the kids like the great mother and leader that you are. *He placed a finger under her chin and lifted her head up so her eyes met his* I love you so much Angel and there is no one on this planet that I would rather be with no matter what happens.

I'm sorry I had to leave, I wish I could have stayed and been here to support you through this...and good thing you wern't sitting against it when I came out becuase the damn thing got stuck and I had to break it down. *He gave her a small smile, trying to get her to do the same. To help relax her a bit and lighten the grim atmosphere
