Haradhel smiled. "All right, then," she grinned, and headed towards the door to outside. She opened it and held it open for Lin.
"Looks like rain," she commented, looking out at the sky to the west, where clouds were amassing.

Lin looked up, indeed there were clouds, maybe there would be puddles to stomp in later. Even though at her size it was probably a bad idea, but Lin was like most children. She liked puddles, puddles were fun and you could sail little leaf boats on them too!
She skittered outside, but first she was going to have to make it before it rained.
"Will it rain soon?"

"Not until tonight, I'm sure," Haradhel assured Lin, "but tomorrow the ground will be quite wet ... come to think of it, I'm not certain if Amdir will be able to train the horses very well if the ground is too soft."
She frowned. "Ah well ... worry about it tomorrow."

Lin wondered if it would rain hard, it was fun when it rained hard and thundered and stuff as long as you were inside. To hear the rain hit the roof, welll perhaps not thunder. She doubted the horses would like that she thought as she skipped and ran alongside Haradhel.
"Would that mean Admir might get the day off?"

Haradhel nodded. "He might," she agreed. "The sad thing is, if the weather's as bad as all that, Aliya wouldn't be heading out here, so it's a bit of a waste, really."
She paused thoughtfully. "Though perhaps that's a good thing, he would actually take a day off then. If Aliya were here, he would work no matter the conditions. Poor kid."

Lin asked as if was the most confusing thing in the world, and to a little girl like her it would naturally be. Since she had met Aliya and well had not spend as much time with her as her older siblings found her well enough.
"She wouldn't make him work out in the wet soft ground where he could slip."

Haredhel smiled down at Lin. Innocent child, was her only thought.
"He's very shy with her," she said with a mischievous grin. "So if she were here, he would work so that he wouldn't have to feel embarrassed around her. It's that simple."
Nearly.
"Anyways, here we are," she nodded, opening the door to the barracks. "Would you like me to stay with you until you find someone?"

"Oh....." Lin murmured thoughtfully, "Well she's very nice so you tell him he doesn't have to be shy."
She smiled, thinking that was all there to it, since after all she a shy niece in Miyu. Miyu was very shy, but as long as you were nice she wouldn't be shy anymore.
"And I'm good," Lin added, "I can find someone on my own," she grinned, "I'll see you later!"
She ran in to see what she could find, since she didn't know where Elros lived in that building.

And with that she turned around and headed back to the house.

Lin hurried on in and took a good look around, since the last time she had been with her father. For someone who was the size of a mere doll, the hall way was very spacious and the doors very large. She walked down the hallway taking a look around even though there wasn't much to look at.

At the end of the hall was a set of stairs, and a silhouette appeared in the darkness, heading towards the door. Only a few feet into the hallway, however, he paused, sensing more than seeing that someone else was in there -it was after all very dark.
"Hello?" a gentle voice called out.

Lin tilted her head a bit she couldn't see who it was, and it could be anyone really.
"Hello!" she pipped up with an incredible amount of pep.
She decided to wave since she wasn't sure if the person could see her, it was dark and she was small.

"Ah, Lin!" the voice exclaimed; and the silhouette knelt down and held out a hand. "Here, climb on my hand," he said, "and we can go outside. It's far too dark in here to see anything at all."
And, smiling, he waited for her to do so.

The little girl had no second thoughts about crawling onto the person's hand. She kneeled sitting on her legs and allowed herself to be lifted up.
"Okay," she murmured, "I'm ready."

The figure straightened again, lifting Lin and holding her close to his chest, and headed down the hall towards the outside. Upon reaching the door, he opened it and stepped out into the fading sunlight.
"There we are," Celeborn smiled broadly, looking down at Lin. "Much better, yes?"
His white-blond hair was pulled back in a low ponytail, revealing the black rose tattoo on the side of his neck.
