Smirk some when he feels the little needle teeth bite his hand. He then looks to Lyoko and says "well like I said before, I was the only black dragon, born of a family of Gold dragons." he grabs Kovu and moves him back to his lap, his gaze softening some. "For my family, I was considered a bad omen, so when the time fo offerings came, I was offered as sacrifice to my lord Iro. They had told him that the 'purging' of myself, would mean no evil could stand before his blade." he then smiles some as he rubs Kovu's belly, inciting a purr. "But my lord saw a rare being, one that would bring him luck in battle. So for their insult to him, he had them either slain or enslaved, and took me to be raised as his own." he looks to Lyoko and says "such is why my loyalty to him is absolute."

Ryu smiles, then leans in close and gives Lyoko a kiss on the lips before saying "Thank you, and hope she grows to be as beautiful as you." kovu finally curls up in Ryu's lap and nods off to sleep.

Ryu smiles to her and says "of course my dear, after all the cubs at the very least need a safe place to stay till they are older."

Ryu gently scoops up the sleeping Kovu and then stands. he leads them out of the enclosure and back inside. He would then lead them to a seldom used room near both their room and the hot spring room. Once inside he whispers something and the empty room first gains a windo, then the floor boards seem to sink into the ground, revealing soft earth. Some more whispered worlds and some grass grows to cover the ground before some saplings and some rocky out crops with at least one flat surface, rise up in the room. "there, this will offer both safety, and a place for them to grow in a setting similar to their natural environment."

Ryu smiles and gently sets Kovu down in the grass with the others. Kovu gave a lazy look to the others, then cutely curled up to continue to sleep, one paw drapped over his face. Ryu chuckles lightly and says "thank you, I'm sure they will love there indoor living area.' he moves tot he window and opens it some so as to let some fresh air in, a pair of butterflies flit in and do their own little dance around the room.

Ryu smiles and says "yes I should see about getting Kitsuna and my lord here for us to make ready to depart. Or were you hinting at the idea of kari and her cubs joining us?"

Ryu smirks some and says "well seems the votes have been cast. very well they shall join us. I've hate for you two to be parted from one another for too long, and we certainly can't have the mother away from her cubs now."
