"Much better than hiding alone." Atem agreed, poking his head out of the playroom. "Where do you think Yugi and Kawi are?" He asked, slipping out of the playroom with Ember. Bakura looked up at Kira when Atem and Ember had left. "So, what, are you calling your daughter back?"

"Yes I am. I've desided im not going to let you get in the way of what I want to do. If rei wants to talk then i'll talk." kira said.
"Eather in there room,in the arcade or out." ember sujested.

"Ah, okay." Bakura said, nodding, before turning back towards the television. "Wait a second! The dinosaur had just been on letters! When'd we switch to numbers?" Bakura cried, surprised at the sudden change on the show. "M'kay. If they're in their room I'm not gonna go there. Let's hide in the pantry." Atem offered, examining the hallway carefully. So far there was no sign of Anzu. Good.

Kira laughed and headed twards the living room.
"Ok" ember said heading twards the kicthen.

Bakura grumbled and cursed at Barney, settling down in the playroom to see where all of this was going. He found a plush monkey which he hugged to his chest as he watched the show. Atem snuck with Ember to the kitchen where, unfortunately, Anzu was. Atem let out a frightened little yelp and was about to bolt, but forced himself to smile at the brunette. "Hey, there you are! I heard you were looking for me." Anzu looked up in surprise as Atem entered. She smiled brightly. "Oh, yeah, I was. It's no big deal, really. But I was curious if you and Yugi wanted to go out with me later tonight. You know, just for old times' sake. I'd invite Ryou, but he's kinda... moody."

Emnber wraped herarms around atem when he jumped. She frowned slightly looking to atem.

Atem didn't know how to turn Anzu down. In all of his many, many years, he couldn't seem to refuse something to someone if he didn't want to hurt their feelings. "Well, uh... I'm not sure where Yugi is, but I'm not sure, uh..." He glanced towards Ember, biting his bottom lip. "Can Ember come too? She's my girlfriend." He seemed to blurt this last part out a little bit too bluntly. Anzu's smile flickered slightly as she looked towards Ember, her eyes going cold. "Well, really, I had been hoping for it to just be us. Me, you, and Yugi, of course. It wouldn't be the same if we brought others along."

Ember her brian racing trying to think of a way out "Atem you said we could go shopping today..." She smiled sweetly at anzu "You could come along...It might not be exsiting.."

"Ah, no, that's fine." Anzu said , in the same sickly sweet tone as Ember. She quickly looked to Atem. "Maybe another night, though. You can't be busy the whole week."

Anzu returned the smile, though she was looking a spot a little above Ember's shoulder. She couldn't seem to look her in the eyes. The brunette got up, brushing off her skirt. "Well, I need to leave now. I'll see you guys later." Rei looked out her window glumly. Her mother was outside talking with that violet-haired agent. She wished that they could have gotten in contact with her actual mother. Even if they couldn't talk long, Rei wanted to know what her voice sounded like. Was that too much to ask?

Kira had been sitting on the couch staring the the phone. "Should I do this?" "Do this do this!" kai repeated. "Ok.." kira called the number waiting for sombody to pick up.

Rei jumped in alarm when the phone began to ring. She wasn't supposed to answer the phone on her own, but her mother was right outside if it was for her. And it always was. Rei hopped off of her bed and trotted over to the phone, picking it up. "Hello?" She asked, then remembered what her mother said about phone manners. "Uh, I mean, this is the Dylans family. Rei speaking. What can I do for you?" She had learned that line from the television.

"R-Rei?" kira was now nervous. Herchild sounded so grown up "t-this is kira....your mother..." she said.
