Well as far as I can tell the war heated up cause the old lycan leader had control over the new one and bla bla bla.. I am big on carring what caused it.
Before that there was a shadow demon thing killing and abducted some of the higher ups of the races.
I don't know all the info, plus I was out of town for a few days.

*placing the old book in her bag Lily stood up from the bench and wiped off the dirt she gathered from it. She put her hair in a messy ponytail and walked back to where she left the cat last night. When the orange furball jumped on her she fell down laughing in front of the store and rubbed its head. Picking it up she started back down the street with the cat licking her arms*

*Lily smiled softly as the cat pawed its way into her arm, making itself right at home. Seeing as there was not much going on she turned into an alley by a coffe shop and sat there in the shadows, pondering on what the lycan told her last night. This war really has to stop. She was right to many innocent bystanders are getting killed and having their lives ruined. The're no better than those damned idiots who burned down the forest. She sighed and looked up into the cloudly sky.*

*In a faster pace than normal, Kamahl walks out of the lycan club and onto the dark streets of NYC. His hunger for mortal flesh was getting stronger every moment, but he tried to not think about it. He was set on going through with his plans that he devised in his temporary residence in the club.*

Neko walked hesitantly among the not so crowded streets of New York, her black braid bumping against her back as she walked and her emerald eyes wary as she looked around. She was suprisingly comfortable though, amid the ruin of half of one of the greatest cities in the world. She was looking for anyone who was still trapped in the rubble, or bodies anyway. No one, not even a demon, could survive that long amid rubble, smoke, and carbon monoxide gas giveen off from the fires that had long since been put out. She sighed, trying not to brethe through her nose. The smell of death was everywhere.

*Kamahl made his way into a nearby alleyway.....stealth would be important in these times of struggle. An unfortunate mortal was lounging in the alleyway and stayed there unknowing of what would come by. Kamahl's hunger was getting to its height and he couldn't control it anymore. With intense speed, he jumped the mortal and began to beat him senseless. After a minute or two assaulting him, Kamahl began to feed upon the mortal.*

"Oh god, that's disgusting." Neko said as she walked by the alleyway. "Not only are you in plain view, but you're loud enough to wkae the dead. Please either move and keep quite, or just stop! Lycans, I'll never understand 'em. or Vampires too for that matter." Neko paused, thinking, before starting to walk off again, a slight greenish tone to her face.

He carefully disposes of what is left of the body and starts to clean up his face. After he does this, he follows the passerby who spoke to him.*
