I would be as long as the same thing doesn't happen as that last rp. My character was a King of a nation he got dethroned(i was pretty much alright with it) and then more or less written out of the story. It along with someone (who was worse than crystalline in annoying me) pissed me off to no end so I basically left.

Well. All your followers (other than captured generals) are pretty much NPC characters. Depending on how you rule (which there will be a table for that) your people will like or dislike you. As long as they dont believe you to be an evil emperor then you will be fine.
On my RP, one guy ruled very tightly and was highly declared an evil general. His people asked the other nations for assistance and in the long run, the man was slain for his acts. It was later discovered that the general/ruler that supposedly slain him was working with him and he re-appeared, ruling another territory. He didn't last long at all though >.>
And there will even be a map of the territories, though it pains me to admit it is made in paint XP

lol well with the map i could help by using photoshop. I made the map for the rp that i was a part of before in it lol. I cant say it would be great but i could do it.

So if I gave you the basic skeleton of the map. Could you go from there and give it a sky to ground view. Give it like mountains and such.
And the only downside to that is the fact that I need to be able to change it frequently because as people take over territory, then the map will have to change.

I could it would take some work though by using photoshop i could make it easily changeable on the fly with using different layers.

Hmm. That would be nice. Im cleaning it out as we speak. Deleting all the old people. The old colors. Stuff like that. It looks a lot like a risk board. LOL.

lol nice also if i knew more people i would possibly work on getting a second rp up and running. likely the one i tried to before and failed or talk to an old friend if he minds if i use the idea for his that i enjoyed lol.

risk is my all time favorite game ever. also, if you finished it, then divided it then redoing colors should be easy enough as the game goes on. malix' idea is especially good though. lock all the layers but the one nation, then use the paint bucket, and re-post it to the same url.

Hmm. How would we handle that though. If we actually made it to where all the nations look like they actually had terrain and made it a much more realistic looking landscape, then you couldn't do it by color like I did. Well. Unless you did like a transparency version of the color that would just tint the landscape. LOL. Im almost done cleaning out the map. I might even tell you guys what areas were most fought over. HA HA HA!!!

lol i would likely use the base group of layers as the actual land and then use overlays of different colors for easy reference of territories.

That sounds like it is very useful. I am trying to upload it to freaking photobucket so I could post it here so that you could have access to it but photobucket is acting up >.< No fair.
I can say this much though. If I remember straight, the largest number of casualties took place on the island on the northern part of the map. It was almost always chaos there until the super power decided to make claim. He sent in a massive army and in the next week to come (which was around 2 months RP time), he had taken over the island and quickly blockaded it to try and halt the fighting there. It was a successful task, but he lost his capital in the process and morale crashed. The task of blockading the island became very difficult.

hmm i can say it is interesting hmm most likely i would ignore such a place and be the one taking the capital of the super power lol. I tend to be the slow and careful person in strategy like games. So yea I would generally sit behind a situation I know I can defend and when there is a good opening strike. Well ether that or essentially ungodly overwhelm my enemy.

Well. I tend to be the same way. I was the one who had secured a large number of resources and ran my nation off of economy. I was definitely a good leader.
Another thing. When his capital was captured, this is what happened in essence. His morale at the time was almost maxed out. It was like 180% or something like that. Well. That means his units power was greater than average. A capital being captured immediately topples morale by 100%. So now his units were weaker than normal. If it wasn't about the fact that he had bunkered down on the island, he may of very well died because of that.
And if you guys wanted to do this, would you want it to be based modernistic or based on like spears and swords.
