Arlen sets his spoon down in the empty bowl. "Can I get you anything?" he asks the new girl, turning in his seat to face her.

She asks standing up and running her hand over her book before grabbing her glass and walking towards the bar.

It's a bit of a fascination of mine. Most of the articles deal with times when their was great peril in the world and how it was dealt with."

"I've heard that this town holds a lot of histories and journals. They have sources dating back to B.C. telling of the several great apocolypses that have ravaged the world. I wish to study those volumes, see if they can fortell the next coming of the apocolypses." The girl replies a bit of joy coming to her face.

Baizou awoke, having somehow gravitated to the fireplace. He still seemed to weak to move around much, but he was able to lift his head. He was almost completely transformed into a dragon-like creature.
