Ryou watched his child leave and he started to move away as well, making his way to the bathroom. He checked to make sure Kira had followed and was inside before closing the door, locking it. He took off his shirt, frowning slightly and wondering if he could get the stains out. The source of the blood was easy enough to see; the Millennium Ring. As it had done in the past, the Millennium Ring had buried its golden spikes into Ryou's skin. The little bumps where you could see the gold underneath were slightly disturbing, but Ryou didn't seem to notice it that much. He grabbed a towel, wetting it and trying to wipe off the blood.

Kira wet a washcloth and started to wash away the blood. The smaller washcloth was easier to clean up the blood.

"Should we tell the others about Rei?" Ryou asked, almost hesitantly. The blood cleaned up easily enough and he traced the Millennium Ring, trying to decide whether or not to pull the spikes out or leave them in.

"No." kira said throwing the washcloth in the sink. "Do you want to take them off?" she asked.

"I guess I should..." Ryou said reluctantly, not looking up at Kira. He decided that this should be treated as a band aid; one quick rip, it would be better than being slow. He took a hold of the triangular part of the Millennium Ring, braced himself, and then jerked up sharply. They hadn't really dug in too deeply, but the spikes still hurt as they were ripped out. Ryou hissed at the pain, quickly holding a hand to his chest. For some reason, he felt the need to continue a normal-ish conversation with Kira. "You should... sooner or later. Later rather than sooner, but... Especially if you meet Rei one day."

Kira took a clean washcloth holding it to were the spike was riped out "I guess so."

Ryou bent his head, silent for a while. A slight shudder ran over him, and then his head tilted up. Bakura squinted at the lights in the bathroom, too used to darkness. "You people don't know what you want..." He grumbled. He looked exactly the same as he had before; the change from him and Ryou was quite obvious. His eyes were narrowed sharply, becoming quite colder, and changing in color to a more reddish brown. His hair flared out, and he almost seemed to become taller. His voice was vastly different from Ryou's, and so was his posture. Some things just couldn't change in a year.

"I don't trust you." Bakura stated shortly, pushing away the washcloth .He finished the job, going at it more slowly that Ryou had. Bakura wasn't the kind of 'just rip it off' person. He looked back to Kira, his eyes slitting. "You look different. How long's it been?" Generally, when he spent long amounts of time in his item-- or wherever the hell he was-- he had no idea how long it was.

"A year." kira said and pressed the washcloth to the wounds. Once it stoped bleed she grabed bandages and put them over the hole "I look diffrent because I grew."

Bakura cursed, but didn't seem too angry. A year was nothing to him, not really. He seemed to zone out completely as Kira bandaged him. He was going over Ryou's memories, just getting basic information. After a few minutes, he groaned. "You mean the pharaoh and the others are still living here? They need their own homes. You should kick them out."

"There too useful to kick out.The house is large enough anyways." She took away the blood stained shirt "come on your need a clean shirt."

"Why do you always treat me like a child?" Bakura grumbled, but went over to the door, anyway. He fumbled with the knob before realizing it was locked, and then unlocked it lazily and stepped outside, bumping into someone. "Watch where the ******** you're going, you..." He froze when he saw who it was, then turned slowly to look at Kira. "In what <******** way is she useful?" Anzu seemed flustered, but managed to keep a strained smile on her face, ignoring Bakura's remarks. She must have still thought it was Ryou. "Um, hey, I was just looking for you two. Do either of you know when we're going to the mall? I had some other things I wanted to do I needed to know how long I'd have to wait."

Anzu didn't seem too disappointed at this news. In fact, she almost seemed happier. "Oh, well, I guess I don't have to go there today. Say, have you seen Atem anywhere? I wanted to go out with him."
