Fangirly said you had other states you thought about using in this RP but some of them were taken. Which states were you thinking about having? I'm just curious. *pats TN's head* Oh nothing! biggrin If I recall correctly, some of the ones she considered but were taken were Alaska, Michigan, California, and Texas.

I was randomly reading some history of Massachsuetts and it dated back all the way to around 1000 O_O According to Norse people Leif Erikson made it too Massachusetts....so like the Nordic’s are like Massy's distant family.....>w< and MA got her name in 1546,,(i think i cant remember exact year) so MA is older then i thought she was....cause she got capture by Arthur and brought to England a taught English....and lived with him until the Pilgrim’s....*falls over* why didn't i learn about this sooner. *still trying to get over the fact that Newfoundland might be a distance brother* O_O n-no

I'm always a little cautious about mixing State histories with Native American histories. I think I've mentioned this before, but I think you tread a dangerous line since Indian Nations consider themselves completely different. You see the colonies needing to make treaties and acting towards them as if they're a totally separate political identity throughout history. You can accidentally do some REALLY insulting things to natives who resisted State authority and encroachment into their lands by combining states and their natives... I know one of my buddies gets really pissed off sometimes over state OC's he's seen because he views it as a huge insult to his people's sovereignty and heritage.
