KOF06 will be in full 3d, has Hattori Hanzo as an unlockable, has Galford from SamSho and Terry from FF:MotW as alternate costumes (for Hanzo and Terry, respectively) and FINALLY BRINGS ROCK HOWARD INTO KOF. THANK YOU, GOD.
Now howsabout we make a KOF game in 2d with (gasp) NEW SPRITES?!

I just got done playing that.
A lot of unlockable characters suck, only because they're almost identical to characters already in the game, while leaving other good characters out.
Hanzo is good, but I like Nagase because she's cuter and plays the same. A little slower though, I think.
Rock Howard has been in KOF for awhile, actually.
It's decent, a lot better than the last offering, but I still expect a little more. They give you plenty to do though.
I would like it if they still made good (actually upgraded) 2D games though. The speed just feels better, and honestly the moves feel more right in a 2D environment than in 3D, though they do make it feel more natural this time around.
Sadly though, they still put in moves that are physically impossible to pull off for some characters.
