Hey all! Question...if I took a trip to another village, would I be attacked just for going near them? Or would I be allowed to enter, were my character simply taking a trip?
If you came openly in your ninja uniform, you would be swarmed with ninja and interrogated to figure out what you wanted, but probably not attacked unless you resisted.
If you came secretly as a ninja, they will kill first and ask questions later, and if you do survive you will be locked up and interrogated as a POW.
If you come with no ninja stuff, they will ask for business and identification, determine you have none, and boot you out--unless you have forgeries.
All of this is subject to change from village to village, but that's a pretty basic overview.
