Achilles and Patroclus walked back across the football field, making their way from the stables. Unusual being that they are not alone, but in the company of a female student. One most often seen in the company of freshman mage Billy Kaplan; Jennifer Kale, Hero High's top student sorceress.

Achilles spoke, "So you are certain your spell will be effective?"

Jennifer waved off his concern, "Don't sweat it sweet cheeks. I set up the charms at the four Global corners of the stable. If any Jedi makes another attempt on our mascot, you'll know about it."

"Thank you." Patroclus said to her with a smile. "Perhaps now he can relax a bit. Ever since the Jedi attempted to steal Mysia, he has been more uptight than..."

"Thank you Patrcolus." Achilles interrupted, unable to hold back his smile. "So long as she is safe. My next step would been to have set up my bed in her stable to keep guard. Mysia would have enjoyed the company though."

Jennifer laughed, "I think a lot of girls here would love to have you camp out in their bedrooms."

Achilles's cheeks flushed pink as Patroclus laughed at his discomfort. Jennifer smiled and said, "Just take your man there and go make your plans for the dance. Looks like he's done his costume research." She jetted a finger toward the stack of magazines piled in Patroclus's arms.

Achilles waved as Jennifer headed back for the girl's dorms and he and Pat went back to the boy's.

Karen woke up feeling refreshed, she smiled and stretched her arms out yawning a little. Rubbing her head she looked over to Jen who was still a sleep.

She wrote her a note and stuck it to Jen's forehead,



After a quick spin change in to work out clothes she was off the the gym.

Jen woke up and saw the note on her head. She gave it a quick glance and a shrug. It was getting a bit late and she had no time for breakfast.

She quickly got dressed and ran out the door. She needed to be at the main school building in ten minutes. She didn't notice anyone talking in groups and what they were gossiping about. She didn't even hear the word "Chris" and "got caught in the Girl's Dorm"

She blanked it all and was arriving on time to meet up with her teacher Hank McCoy who was in charge of her first test.

Jen sat down and started it with a rumbling stomach. Completely unaware of the storm of gossip that was outside.

*Chris recounted his whole evening to Mr. Murdock. The buffet, the Magic Mirror and walking with Jen, and then being in his room when Cassie and Dani showed up.*

The good news is Jennifer can witness you were with her and then we could document what time you logged online. The problem is that there is a small gap of time where you're not accounted for by anyone and your prior history of....underwear activities.

I didn't do this Mr. Murdock. I wouldn't do it!

I believe you, Chris. I've taught you long enough to know this is not a thing you would do to Danielle. But the problem is what we can prove.

*Chris sighed. Mr. Murdock patted him on the back and they headed down to Diana's office.*

*Diana, at that moment, was meeting with Steve Rogers and Emma Frost.*

I don't blame you, Steve. You couldn't know one of your students would do this.

Diana, dear, aren't you rushing to judgement?

I will NOT have girls assaulted at this school in this manner!

I'm not disagreeing with that, dear, but we haven't heard Christopher's side. Perhaps there is more to the story.

There is NO excuse for-

Yes. Christopher and his attorney. Hmph. Emma, summon Cassie and Dani please. I need to have them here for this.

*Emma sent thoughts out to Cassie and Dani.*

Miss Sandsmark and Baptiste, please come to the Headmistresses office immediately.

*Dani arrived a split second after Cassie. She had run all the way over.*

Here! Out...of....breath....but....here....

*Both girls sat in chairs as Diana stood and began to pace. Meanwhile, Chris and Mr. Murdock sat down in chairs outside. Emma had sent them a message to wait for a couple of minutes. Diana stopped pacing and stood before the girls.*

Cassie, Dani...I am very disappointed that I was not contacted as soon as the assault happened last night. I had to find out this morning through gossip. I take it that neither of you will deny that Dani was assaulted in your room?

*Dani and Cassie looked at one another and then Dani spoke up.*

Well, we thought to handle it ourselves. Because Chris would never do something....

Miss Baptiste, what Mr. Powell would or wouldn't do is not what we want to know at the moment. We'd like to know your version of the events and why we weren't contacted. We'll determine Mr. Powell's guilt later.

Yes, Ms Frost. I...I came into our room and I saw someone who looked like Chris stealing out underwear. I started to yell at him and he hit me twice and knocked me down. But it wasn't him! It couldn't be! Right, Cassie?

Jen chewed on her pencil as she finished the Science test, boy was that difficult. She really didn't want to do anything past High School level.

She held up her hand and Dr McCoy came and gave her a new test paper.

"This one's for the English class. By the way Jennifer, the principle would like to see you after this test."

Jen looked up. "I didn't do anything! I swear the doors were like that when I got to them,"

Hank sighed. "This isn't about you, well not directly. This is about a fellow student, Chris."

Jen wrinkled her brow. 'Was this school one of those weird, no relations with students type school?'

"Don't worry about it, you're not in trouble. Just concentrate on your tests for now. You're making some smooth progress, we might even be finished soon."

Jen scratched her head a little worried. Dr McCoy looked serious.

Well whatever happened I hope Chris is okay.

"Now just relax Christopher."

Emma Frost said calmly as she sat in a chair opposite of Chris by just two feet. Her legs crossed, she was the picture of indifference, but the light in her eyes said different. She was protective of the students of Hero High above all else, and a supposed attack against one, especially a female, left her in a calm, subdued anger.

Still, it was as Matt Murdock said, 'innocent until proven guilty', and this was the only way to prevent a court hearing of 'he said, she said'.

"Just breathe, and let your mind open itself up to me."

Emma's eyes bore into Chris's own, and he immediately felt her mind inside of his...

"Hm, I can just imagine this was terribly awkward for you."

Emma said as she and Chris, in his own astral form, stood in the buffet restaurant, watching the interaction between Powell and Achilles at the time.
