I don't always get accused of not being thoughtful enough, but when I do, it's always from my mom.

Jedi Sasquatch Alright, genuine secret to share today:
I... I think I have an online girlfriend now. Or if not now, then in the near future.
We've known each other for a long time and we get along really well. And she's cute. I asked her what she thinks of the idea of online relationships and we both feel very apprehensive about it, but we're both really interested in each other.
I don't really know how an online relationship is supposed to work, and I don't think she knows either. We just sort of have to figure it out, I guess?
I don't know what to tell people. A lot of people think online relationships are "not real" or whatever. And I understand the reasoning behind that. She lives in Indiana and I live in Texas. It'll be hard for us to meet each other in person often.
So I'm really happy now that I know she's interested in me too, but I just don't really know where to go from here. Go for it man! And I wish you all the best of luck! There is a stat going around I heard that like 1 in 9 new marriages come about via the internet in some form (be it online dating or just getting to know someone online and going about it the old fashioned way of falling from just knowing someone). I know that's obviously really far off and stuff but it gives a lot of hope to folks and shows that an online relationship is as real as any other. As far as I'm concerned it also takes a hell of a lot more work and commitment to. If I want to see my other half I show up at his door or his work (I don't generally do this without letting him know first...) but in an online thing you've really gotta plan and take the time to speak to one and other. TLDR; Best of luck!

sweatdrop well its a very confusing situation I am currently in. So I know these set of twins that were my best friends ever. I mean like, when we all met each other it was just click and I felt like they were the only two people who would understand me and be with me for a long time. redface but then over time, one of the twins started to catch my interest (note that I can tell the difference from the start so I don't get confused) and after a wild goose chase, we started going out. this happened in I say about 2 years of friendship. I have been going out with one of the twins for a complete year so one day we get into an argument and it ends up being when he asks me to just stay friends with him. sad but then being the ******** that I am, I ran away from him and didn't speak to him for a long time. now about 6 months have passed without my best friends, I apologized to both of them for my behavior and I still like my ex.....ALOT, should I hold on to this or let go? I mean I really do like him and even when I don't want to think about him, his image just waltz back into my brain out of nowhere. I have known both of them for 5 years. We were best friends..idk if I should keep trying to get that back or move on. any advice???

Screw guilt, crush harder! It's a very effective way to win a fight.

It always happens. Maybe this time, I can analyze it, try to figure out why. I doubt I'll uncover anything, though. I doubt I'll have that one eureka moment when it all becomes clear. Just one more in a long history, one more in a pile that threatens to be crushed under its own weight. What will I do when it all comes crashing down? Will I be free of the cycle, or will there be nothing left?

Maybe you could start over as friends once more, I don't know the state of how their emotional state. If they were receptive to your apology and didn't disconnect, you seem to be in the clear.

We talked but only one of them actually is my friend now. The one i like a lot wont talk to me and gets mad if i even look at him. I want to save our friendship but im afraid to make him hate me even more. I like him a lot and i stay away from his brother because i dont want him to think that i like his brother. I mean me and his brother hang only once in a while and he's cool with me but still. It doesnt feel the same and i just really miss having both of them in mynlife.
