Making things short, after an almost two-hour conversation with my chemistry professor about the inner workings of molecules, their interactions and all the way to Space, Black Holes and everything Astrophysics, my chemistry grade is within the possibility of redemption!
She even proposed that if I passed the class with what she could describe as 'with flying colors', she would personally give the department a glowing recommendation, should I decide to go with chemistry in the coming years.
Woo! I've bought an extra box of Queen Anne's cordial cherries and plan to celebrate all night long! Hip-hip! Hooray!
Plus, she said I was among one of the brightest students she'd encountered... if only somewhat lazy and distracted.
