Nope. I saw Avatar in the cinema. It was Fern Gully meets Pocahontas rolleyes The animations were stunning, but the storyline had been used time and time and time and again.

the main plot of the book is to take down a dude who experiments on children in africa

Death happens to everyone, including sparkly Vampires and werewolves. Shiki just sees that and acts upon it. And he's smexy while doing so.
