Would my made-up be judged more favorably if Tsutae could only sprout her wings under certain conditions?
For example...
She permanently loses an important memory every time she uses it.
She needs to assume someone else's persona, temporarily forgets her true identity, and when she reverts, she permanently confuses some of the assumed persona's memories with her own. The longer she spends in her winged form, the greater the risk.
She needs to use an item to activate it (i.e. her grandmother's tanto) and her wings disappear if she loses the item.
She is bound to fight honorably or she loses the ability to grow her wings for a week of real time.
She is bound not to intentionally harm anyone, or she loses the ability to grow her wings for a week of real time.
She needs to smear a considerable amount of her own blood onto her feathers in order to grow wings.
Several of the above?
