affaress mito Target gets it THIS MONTH for the holidays! xd (unless their magazines lie to me) sweatdrop It isn't that the magazine lies to you, it was supposed to come out on December 3rd, and then it got pushed back to February 10th. So trust me it won't be in your Target for the holidays.

Nah. We're not going to get any last minute extras. This delay was for 2 reasons.
1. To boost Galaxy's sales. Great game, but not as much hype as Brawl. It would've gone unnoticed for the most part.
2. Fine tuning. Melee was actually rushed. That being the reason so many glitches were found. Brawl will not have the same problem.

Do you think Samus' extendo-grapple-beam will be featured in Brawl?
This hidden talent, along with falco/fox's "summoning" move on corneria, were obviously secrets put in the game intentionally. Do you guys think Brawl will have more secrets like these in store for us?

Well, I know Samus' grapple beam will return. Brawl seems to focus heavily on Tether Recoveries for some characters.
As for secrets, I'm sure there will be many.

As for secrets, I'm sure there will be many. I'm not talking about Samus' normal grapple beam; I'm talking about the little hidden ability she has to extend its reach by doing some fancy thing with the controls (which I can't remember precisely) but I believe it involves rotating the control pad vigorously while the grapple beam move is initiated.

She can air dodge into the grapple beam for better aim at the ledge, but I've never heard anything about extending ti's range.
If that's true, then I've never discovered it in my 6 years of playing. Granted, I use Samus almost never.

I've seen my friends do it, and I did it a LONG time ago, when they showed me how. Once the extended beam is activated, not only is its reach longer as a ground grapple move, but you can also control how far it goes, and even make it go behind you. I shall youtube it right now to see if I can prove its existence.

That's actually pretty cool. It still amazes me how many secrets that game has. And even after six years, I've never heard of that one.
