Demetrius pushed open the creaking metal gate with a clawed hand clad in a black adamantine glove. He slowly trod into the moist soil of the graveyard and felt the cool mist of the eerie fog on his magma-hardened and macabre visage. This place served as a haunting grounds, where a presence of forboding evil lied in wait to many other patrons of the syndicate. Those people avoided the graveyard, but for Demetrius, it was his sanctuary, his place of refuge, the one place where he felt truly comfortable. With each nostalgic step he came closer to his own gravestone. . .

Soon he reached the weathered and worn gravestone that read 'Khazid.' Demetrius knelt at the base of the stone and closed his eyes. His breathing became slower and deeper in the resounding serenity that encompassed him in this place. He could feel the individual spirits as they whirled in the air above him. This place served as an oasis of tranquility and meditation. It had served its purpose and it was time for him to leave. Demetrius stood up, bent his knees and lept into to night sky, flapping his dark mighty wings as he soared in the darkness.

Having felt that the tavern was becoming a tad too crowded, Gregger now found himself strolling along a worn path towards the graveyard. Instinctively he clasped both of his hands behind the back of his head as he turned his gaze up to the moon overhead. He always felt a pulling towards it, a strange, inexplicable connection, but he was never sure what it meant. Perhaps it had something to do with his parents, or perhaps he just fancied big, glowing balls.
Gregger titled his head ever so slightly to the side, as to make sure his companion was still with him, and asked, "Magic, huh? You mean that silly wand-waving?"

Following Gregger in to the evening, she wondered where they may be headed. Though she had wandered in many directions since arriving here, she had not gone in the direction they were going tonight. With a small smile, she replied. "Do you see a wand?" showing her empty hands to the male, she then rubbed her right hand on her left shoulder, as if she were dusting herself off. Instead, a cloak appeared around her shoulders, which she then adjusted for comfort.

As he watched her antics, his grin grew even wider, evidently amused and impressed. "Why, I sure don't. That is quite the trick there. I hate to seem like a nosy little brat, but what else can you do? I'm sure you've learned a bit more than just how to make clothes with all of those years of study."

"Indeed I am able to do much more than just that. I do not wish to go over everything though as it would take days." she paused for a moment, deciding to show just one more secret about herself. She opened her mind to his. "I would not enjoy spending that much time talking about myself."

Barely choking back his mirth, Gregger jumped to a halt, moved his hands to either side of his head, and screamed, "AHH!! Get out of my head!!" His little charade lasted only until he sputtered out the last word, which was when he doubled over laughing. Oh, how he cracks himself up.
He regained some of his composure, what little he ever had, and said through his toothy grin, "Sorry, I couldn't help myself. But for being so mild, you definitely make up for it with these fascinating talents of yours. How would one go about learning how to do either of these things? I would love to be able to pop in and out of peoples minds like that, oh, and of course whip up all of the rum I could ever dream up." Gregger is such a damn drunk.

Taking a few steps back, she thought that he were upset with her for having entered his mind without permission. A moment later he was laughing again. Relaxing some, she could not help but smile. "What an odd creature you are." she said softly, shaking her head slightly. With his final words, she squirmed slightly. Not being one to sugar coat things, she went on with the truth. "Honestly I have no idea. Not everyone is able to use magic at all let alone learn advanced techniques." she decided to stop there, not wanting to admit that she was unlike others.

With a glimmer of mischief lurking in his eyes, he laughed out, "Oh, you flatterer, you. Yeah, I'm a bit different, but hopefully not too much for you to handle." He already knew what she would say next and, sure enough, she didn't let him down. "Ahh, I was expecting to hear that. It's just as well, though; I'm probably not the best candidate for such abilities," he said truthfully, draping an arm around her shoulders, without a second thought of it, as he continued walking once more. He just happened to be a touchy-feeling creature, so what?

Raising a brow at his first comment, she wondered how being referred to as 'odd' would be considered a compliment. It was at that moment she noticed movement there already and recognized it to be David. A moment later, he had his arm around her and was guiding them further into the graveyard. Feeling her cheeks go red, she tried to look at him but found it difficult as he was so close. Moving with him so as not to cause any trouble, she asked; "Wh-what are you doing?"

For a moment he was simply going to ask what she meant, because it seemed pretty damn easy to tell that he was walking. Then he glanced over and noticed how utterly flushed her face was. Now, Gregger was daft, like really daft, but not enough to not understand what she meant now, right? "What, walking? Or do you mean this?" He emphasized that last word in tone and with his hand, now gripping her shoulder. He was laughing again, but this time at the thought that Ziven would think it just fine and dandy to invade his mind, but it was a bit too personal for him to have his arm around her for a casual stroll.
Tearing his eyes off Ziven, Gregger acknowledged the fellow he had encountered, briefly, at the tavern. "Oh, no, that'll be quite all right. Zivy here and I are just out for a little midnight romp in the graveyard. But thanks anyways," Gregger stated.
