Okk laid himself down in the underbrush as the sound of LFO's neared. He had set up the remainder of his flashbangs and smoke grenades on a tripwire spanning across the only possible distance a vehicle could pass through. He was prepared to retreat once more but only through the aid of his tricks, his speed was cut down by the twisted ankle he had received from his James Bond-esque getaway.
The sound of at least two different engines prompted the fugitive to c**k his submachine gun and ready himself for a brief firefight. Hopefully his tactic would get the pilots out of their vehicles...

"Ready as I'll ever be!" Ryouki said from his place once again scrunched inside of Eden with Rain. He just hoped that Nic could keep ahold of the outside of the LFO as well as she had done on the way to town.

"I don't think that this is just a feeling." Kayako said over the intercom, suddenly quiet and focused. "I usually don't get sudden feelings like this unless the drive is reacting to something. And the only person capable of sending me bursts of emotion like that is Gray. That's why we're treating this as a distress signal."
Kayako continued to survey the tree line, catching sight of something glimmering in the sunlight. Metal? She didn't remember seeing anything metal in the forest on their way out, so she slowed her LFO, immediately suspicious. A screen popped up above her console, showing a close-up of the area the glimmer originated from. Upon inspection there appeared to be several metal pieces, some if which Kayako clearly recognized as possible weapons. There was no doubt about it now, someone was down there, and they appeared armed. 'I don't think Gray would know about this though...' she thought 'This can't be the reason for the signal. But this is still important, it could be a mercenary for the military or someone equally as dangerous. Gray's a big boy, he can kick a** just as well as I can. He'll be fine. I need to take care of this.'
"Reiku." Kayako ordered "There's someone down there, I'm going to investigate. Follow me and prepare for combat. Asuka, you have a gun on you, right?"
"Affirmative."
"Good. Marty, if you don't have a gun you don't have to come outside. We can handle this ourselves."
Senturi shot downwards. Kayako decided it was best to avoid the direct ground. She knew that those metal pieces she'd seen could be part of any kind of trap, and the last thing she needed was her LFO getting busted up at a time like this. So as Senturi steered towards a tree, the mech grabbed it's board off of it's feet at the last moment and knocked the tree down with it's legs, using the fallen log as a perch. Senturi's sensors showed a hot spot behind a nearby bush. That was likely where the culprit was. Kayako turned on her external speakers and addressed the hidden person.
"Whoever you are, come out with your hands up! We are not a military, but we will not hesitate to fire on you if you don't cooperate!"

In the Blink on and Marty had a full auto pistol in each hand. "I never go anywhere with my basic guns." He was looking a bit closer to the screen then he most liekly should have been with his cocked and loaded guns. "I am squad tactical leader, Fire fights are my expertise."

Not military? That was a blessing to hear. His reasoning dictated that it could have been a ruse, but then he remembered that he would have been shot first rather than addressed. Slowly and painfully Okk rose up and stood. His weapon rested at his hip, still armed and loaded.
Now able to see clearly who he was facing he breathed a sigh of relief. Whoever they were, it wasn't military. But still they could have been threats so lowering his weapon would have been a fatal error. If it came down to it he could trigger his own trap by praying and spraying the tripwire with a hail of bullets from his gun. "I'm not putting my hands up," he managed to shout as he stepped into a clearing in the underbrush.

Kanashia had put her baby to sleep and steped outside when this entire thing started. She did not have a weapon when she opened the cargo bay doors and took a stepoutside to see kayako's LFO and some guy with gun on his hip. She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a small cigar lighting it. "Here we go again..."

Nic just nodded and dropped the stick as she tried to get in the same position as last time. This time though she wasn't going to keep her eye's closed most of the way. She wanted to get a good look at the area, and take in the scenery at the same time.

Twilight followed Be hide kayako. " Trip wire... Kayako watch where you put Sentury! " He then spotted a man walking out. " Then at least drop your weapon to the ground. " He looked quickly at the com then back towards Okk. " Who is this guy.. " He mumbled as he watch the area be hide Okk. " This better not be a ambush.. " He waited for Kayako to speak.

"Seeing as I'm outnumbered I prefer my chances being armed to unarmed, at least until we figure some things out," he stated after dropping his weapon was suggested. He didn't need to be ordered around by one person and by the sound of the voices he could tell they were younger than him. Just great, not only did I get spotted, I got spotted by runts.

'Well, whoever he is, he's smart...' Kayako thought 'I probably wouldn't go out unarmed either. But that doesn't exactly help me feel better about this.'
She unhooked her arms from the piloting locks and opened the door to Senturi's cockpit. Grabbing her handgun out of her bag on the floor, Kayako then proceeded to climb out of her LFO, perching herself upon it's shoulder. Asuka followed after her, but stayed nearer to the head. The redhead's new objective was to watch their opponent's movements while Kayako addressed him.
"First things first." Kayako said "What are you doing out here? People don't just set up traps in the middle of the woods for no reason. Are you a mercenary?"

"Do I look like a mercenary? I have better things to do than dirty deeds for dirt cheap, well not really but it's against my principles," he answered with a rather insulted scowl.
"I'm just some guy with some problems with the government," he answered honestly yet vaguely. His problems were his and his alone, no one else needed to really know about them. Whoever the girl was, she seemed to be in charge.
"Who are you?" The safety on his weapon clicked as he activated it and lowered the muzzle slightly. Now wouldn't be the time to really pick a fight, not with his ankle twisted and odds against him. Okk may have been haphazard with life but that didn't mean he had nothing to live for. Finding Noli would be his driving ambition. Finding her and making the woman pay for the hell she put Okk through.

Reiku kept his cross hair on Okk if he made any kinda movement that threaten Kayako. " He looks like a former UF fighter... " He mumbled to himself as he open his cockpit hatch while grabbing the butt stuck of his riffle that was leaning to the right of him.

"Kayako, Captain of the freelance ship the Ragnarok. I'm not sure where we stand legally, to be honest." Kayako said. Truthfully, she hadn't bothered to check what if any warrants were still out against them. She surmised that those attached to herself and the kids from the foundation had been definitely dropped, but she wasn't sure about the other crew members.
"If you hadn't noticed," she added "my ship is right over there. And I'm not very keen on letting unknown armed men run around freely near where I sleep. I'm sure you understand the logic. So why don't you explain to us why the UF wants your neck, and we'll see where that takes us?"

MArty moved around behind Kayako and did not hide the fact he was armed and ready to use it cocking te weapons in plain sight of this new guy. IT was ashow of force used by not only the military but any smart mercy badn to show they had guns and where not afraid to use it. but that was all he did was make his pressence known nad c**k his guns.
MEdri had put the baby to sleep and set up a system that would told him the baby made any noise at all, after all the litle guy had a long trip in an LFO and he needed his sleep. So he caught up KAnashia and gave her a scowl when he saw she was smoking. "Just, don't give our kid a bad habit with your smoking ok." he then looked outsdie at everything that was going on and he wished he had his battle staff on him. "HEY KAyako what the hell is going on here?"

"They probably think I'm some sort of maniac bomber since my LFO exploded while I was talking to them at the port." The moment he heard two more guns his eyes narrowed and he raised the muzzle of his once more. "It's a complex case," he answered with an annoyed curl to his lower lip. Kayako, Ragnarok, he had only heard of the ship but not the person. If anything her reasoning was sound and he would have felt the same.

Reiku raised his gun straight towards Okk's head. " If you even try to fire off a shot you'll be dead before it even happens.. " He glared over towards Marty then back towards Okk.
