Giving up, he walks down one of the many rows of books, looking at the titles.

*Jet walked in, startled by the power of the man in the bar. It occured to him that this area is more dangerous than he had originally thought, and he would more than likely soon be seeing others just as powerful, if not moreso. He certainly wouldn't want to cross one of them...*

"Hmm...there are more tomes here than a man can read in a lifetime" he murmured in awe. He quietly began browsing the books, not sure where to look but confident he would find something important.

"That woman at the bar...Alanna...she said that I would have to find something of equal or lesser value to trade for a dragonite stone...but what?" he pondered, passing tome after tome. He decided he would figure something out later, and began scanning the shelves for anything worth reading. Later, with a stack of books in his arms, he took a seat at a table and began to study their many pages....

He found the leads he was looking for.

Senstren looks up. About halfway to the top there is an abnormally large book. Summoning up energy, he makes a symbol in the air to mark the spot. Then he constructs a spell to increase his speed. After a minute, he makes some final adjustments to the spell, and casts it on his legs. Then he turns and runs down the book row and arrives back a moment later with a ladder. He releases the spell, and begins to climb up.

Reaching the book, he yanks it free. Then he puts his feet on the outside of the ladder and slides down.

Reaching the floor, he looks at the tome more closely. It is bound in black leather with a large metal clasp holding the book shut. The book is titled: "The History of Necromancy". He tucks it under his arm and walks towards a good chair to read at.

Tired of waiting for someone she senses life inside the library. She didn't want to be rude and intrude on thier personal buisness, or time. She stepped lightly into the grande Library. A man she never saw before was making his way over to the lounging area, and she walked over silently to examine. "Hello.." she said. Question seeping through her greeting.

Hearing the voice break the silence, he looks over at the speaker. "Are you speaking to me?" He replies, while trying to sense if the person was a threat.

Currently there was no threat about her pressence, though upon stronger observation the constant sense of death floated about her. "You are the only other here. Sorry, did I bother you?"

"No, not at all. Is there something I can help you with?" He walks to a nearby table and places the massive book on it, then turns back to the woman.

With a sigh, he begins to look around. A book with shiny golden writing cataches his eye, and he pulls it out, slowly, delicately as if he would break it. He presses the book close to his nose, sniffign at it, a confused look on his face. He never really understood human writing, let alone books. It smelled funny too, like old dying trees... he whimpered and opened it, being careful with the brittle paper between his clawed fingers. the writing was all curves; pretty looking really. Little did Max know he was holding the book upside down.

She shrugged. "Nothing in particular I guess." Her eye caught the lettering on the spine. " 'History of Necromacy.' Interesting subject to be reading up on." She said, nodding and with a small grin.

He turns to the book as she mentions it. "Yes, I find the topic very interesting. I find that pushing through any boundary is an...amusing challenge. And there are very few stronger barriers than that between life and death." While he says this he tries to think. In most places he visited, the word Necromancy was cause for arrest. This person almost seemed amused.

" Necromancy is a long disputed practice. "Corpse Divination", as it was first orginially called, but over the years that meaning has been twisted."
