Neko flinched again as Mae momentarily faltered.
"I'll saty, Slifer. Thanks for thinking of me. Meph is coming this way. He might not take to kindly to you. I want to see what Meph deos if he sees what's going on." She glanced at him for a moment and then back at the fight. "What are you doing here?"

SoCalBloody Jester_in_Black He blocked the slash, but the sword wasnt as steady as it should have been, almost knocked from his hands. He shot another ball at the mans stomach as the swords touched, sending his hand back in recoil. Gets hit in the stomach and coughs up some blood before pulling out the uzi and shooting it and Maes face about twelve times "You die motha ******** class="clear"> He cockes his head to the side, getting nipped in the ear and hissing with the pain. ((Im gonna make this a long fight btw xd ))

Smelling the blood in the air I laugh thinking of what the hunter could have done this time. Jumps in to the air landign in the immedaite area.

Neko covered her mouth with her hands, covering a gasp as Cal was hit. She giggled, still covering her mouth. She started laughing from hestaria, the memory of Ashley dieing becoming quite clear in her head.
"Deal with it..." she giggled. She threw back her head and laughed. "Deal with it!" SHe laughed. She colasped to her knees, leaning foward to hit the ground. "Deal with it!" SHe was outright laughing now.
Her mind remained completely calm though. Deal with it? She had been trying to deal with it for seven years.

Slifer rubbed the back of his head and blushed slightly "Well..." he said considering what to say "I was just um... looking out for you" he then looked at Meph "I also was wondering about some kind of truce with Meph. I don't want to be a hunter anymore" he said looking at Neko

Neko was still laughing. She was well into hysteria now.
"All's well and good." she said, trying to regain her compsure, but she failed. The memory of Ashley was too strong. Why did she have to die like that, killed by her own kind? Why?
Suddenly, Slifer's words slammed into her brain, making sense. She stopped laughing. She knelt on the ground, looking at the fight. Cal had tried to kiss her, before Mae had come, and Slifer had been looking out for her. What was going on? Was she....DID she, have friends now? People to count on? People who weren't family? She sat there, stunned.

Neko was completely stunned. Mae words were ringing in her head. Cal's words ringed counterpoint. The memories she had long locked away came flooding back. Kyoko's mangled body. Mike's bashed in face. Ashley's body destroyed as she cried out in pain.
A tear leaked from her eye. Another soon followed. She was crying....from sadness. She couldn't watch anymore. With out warning, she jumped up and began to run. She couldn't face death again. She didn't care what Mae said. Seeing all of you siblings mangled at ten wasn't something you just "dealt with".
