I assumed as much for the CD-forum, and am planning on taking down the Heather edit I put up there. I didn't even think about her not being a comic book character until Ashram posted in there.
Okay, so, here's my collection of Silent Hill edits so far. These have been primarily "practice" edits. I can get most of them in tektek alone (hell, the pants are all pretty much the same), so I'm using these to practice things like editting clothes, blending things together, and the dodge/burn tool. Also, getting the colouring right so that it looks like it should actually be there.
First off, Harry Mason of Silent Hill. The hardest part about Harry was the hair. So, I ended up using the Girl's Sleek style and just lopped parts of it off. There's a part on his face where the colouring is off that bothers me, and that's where hair used to be. I'm having trouble getting the shades of pink to align properly right there.

Next is James Sunderland of Silent Hill 2. One of the greatest video games I've ever played (easily the best in the series, and probably the best Survival Horror game period). If you've not played this game and own a Playstation 2 or an Xbox, I strongly recommend picking it up sometime. You can usually find it used for anywhere from $7 to $15 at game shops. James was fairly easy to make. I ran the burn tool over his hair to darken it a little, and I had to make the patches you see on his coat, but none of that was difficult.

Also from Silent Hill 2 is Maria. Fascinating character, but I won't say much. I don't want to ruin the game. I had the most fun making her. I had to fill in a small gap between the Black Strapless Bra and the Red Ska Vest, as well as colour over all the green bits on the vest. She wears a flowered skirt with pink, purple and black, so I used that skirt, drew in some little flower-like shapes, and then coloured the skirt a brighter pink. It didn't come out exactly as I wanted, but it was the most difficult part so I'm mostly satisfied with it. Will probably go through and do her again as I get better at this.

I've shown you the Heather Morris (Silent Hill 3) edit before, but as I'm explaining most of these now, I'll do it again. Heather was fun to make. Her vest looks like this in the game, but Lex's top only goes down so far. So I had to draw out the rest of it, pockets and all. My only problem with it is that I didn't draw any kind of end. It looks tucked into her skirt. For her wristbands, I took the Angelic Bracelets and coloured over them with an orange colour. Then I made her digital watch, which she wears over one of the sweatbands. Her hair isn't really close enough to her game counterpart for me, but I couldn't find a better style. This is another edit I'll refine as I improve.

(also, Heather got a bat and no one else because she's my favourite of the Silent Hill characters.)
Last up is Henry Townshend, main character of Silent Hill 4: The Room. He was definitely the easiest to make, though he was also the one I was most finicky towards. Henry's one of my "squeeee fictional character crush" people. So, I really wanted his edit to look nice. I went through several different hairstyles before eventually settling on this one. And I don't really like this one, it's just the closest I can get right now. When I've become good at editting hair, Henry is definitely getting coiffeured.

These are all the playable characters from the Silent Hill games, save one: Eileen Galvin. I haven't had the time to do her yet, and probably won't for a few days. She's also from Silent Hill 4, and usually follows you around. There's a couple of scenes where she fights with you and such, so I include her in the "playable" character list.
I haven't decided whether or not I want to do some of the monsters yet. They'd be fantastic practice, I just don't know if I can do them.
