Well, my computer at work died today. It started running at a snails pace, and crashing programs. I reset it, and it didn't make it past Scandisk, which it took 10 minutes to get to. After a few more attempts, I talked to my boss, who told me to grab one of the spare computers from upstairs. I swapped compys, and then was on the phone to corporate support for 30 minutes to get it up and running. While we were waiting for it to do a restart, I heard his phone ring, and he had a super Mario Bros. ringtone. xd We got to talking about old school games while he was fixing my computer.

Lol, I couldn't find this topic at first, but I like "he stick" idea for it.
So weird when company's have "spare" computers. Most of the time when I hear about a "spare" or "replacement" computer it's usually crap razz Then again sometimes companies don't have the greatest computers in the first place even if they're a pretty big company.
I have a S.M.B ringtone razz I currently have 1 of S.M.B 2 at the momet

Well, the only reason we have spare computers right now is because of layoffs. sad
Most people at work are worried, including me. I'm not so much worried that I'll be laid off, but that they'll just close the location. They've closed several around us. I'm comforted by the fact the the locations they did close were smaller ones, and that they sent the business to us. But still.... sweatdrop

Ahh, yeah, seems to be how things are going recently. Like, a month or two ago one of my friends' old work got sued and the company was no more and another of my friends got fired from his job although with him they were just trying to get rid of people anyway and found any little stupid excuse to get people outta there. But still, seems to be a lot of that stuff going around recently.

Lol, I ended up buying the Pokemon Pearl game for the Nintendo DS and it's addicting. I kept hearing about it from Penny Arcade and other sources and I don't really know what compelled me to buy it, but I did... I am sad lol
