He said nothing.

Again, she quirked an eyebrow as she began to smile. "Ashamed of your own name..." She leaned close and placed a soft hand upon his shoulder as she leaned up and whispered in his ear. "Or afraid Mr. Leviathan will be able to hunt you down once he realizes you are swindling him."

She leaned back and rocked on her heels before smiling pleasantly. "I won't bother you any longer. I'm sure I can find the motorbike shop on my own. Thank you anyways." She turned and walked away from the two men, content now for some strange reason.

"A pleasure to see you again, as well," the man said as he removed his right hand from the pocket and waved it half-heartedly in responce to her departure.

"Maybe we can talk some time... when you can work up the courage for it?"

With nothing else to say to the woman, he turned his attention back to the Leviathan; it was only polite, after all.

Her head turned so fast it was a surprise that it didn't snap. What did happen though was that her thick golden auburn hair snapped free of her hair clips and tumbled freely about her shoulders even as her glasses slipped from her nose. She looked more then a little discomforted but at the moment was paying no mind to her appearance.

"If I knew you, sirrah, I doubt I would have any problems facing such a...comical aproximation of a human such as yourself."

James... grinned. His hands still stuck absently in his pockets; though he seemed to roll forewards from his heels to the balls of his feet for a moment, and then sink back.

She began to fumble with her hair as she realized what a mess it had become, all but pulling yanks of it out even as she shoved it back into a tight knot on top of her head. She bent down and picked up her glasses, the entire time, not removing her eyes from him. She then offered him her hand to shake, incased in which was a small business card which said. 'S. C. Browning. Creative Industries' and then a phone number of some type. Once he allowed his hand to be shaken she would leave the card in his care and turn back around, speaking not another word.

But he didn't. What now?

As he did the rude thing, and didn't even shake her hand, there wasn't much she could do, now was there. She smiled brightly, though not friendly and simply shurgged. "Well, it was nice meeting you gentlemen. I need to get back to work after I find the shop I'm looking forward. Creation Industries doesn't pay me to sit on my duff. Good day."

She turned one last time and moved back towards the pub where Tellus watched her with wide eyes, wondering what in the hell was going on.

*Enki listened intently as the two carried on their conversation. When Ms. Browning pushed her glasses up her nose, so did he, more out of empathetic habit then anything else. When the woman wispered into the man's ear, the only word he caught was "swindling." Enki is no moron, he knew that the amount asked for was FAR too much for a simple contracting and building by at LEAST 150 billion gold. But Enki really didn't care at the moment. He wanted his home back and he wanted it back as soon as possible. Though there were a few things Enki would have to do on his own, such as the portals and a few other hidden things, but he wasn't going to tell the man that his plans weren't... complete. When the woman is about to leave, he merely nods his head to her after her departing statement*

James... twiddled his thumbs?

Well, the effect is there. He did not follow, nor pay much mind to the meddlesome woman, and simply awaited any sort of favorable responce from the Leviathan before he would depart...?

*Enki then turns back to the man and nods again*

I will have 20% of the agreed sum by the alotted time. Thank you for your business and I hope, for that amount, that you''re contractors do not let me down... I very much hope that I am not diappointed in any way, shape, or form by the construction.

"Hmpf, you're wasting my time, dragonling."

The cloaked man muttered as he turned his back with a whirl of his cloak and started to head back towards the main street of Latent, in a direction that would eventually take him back to his Inn. He didn't have time for people who were just going to waste it. And this one had proved annoying enough already by his incessant accusation of him being a member of the Undead Race. He'd have to work on that.

When he arrived at the Inn, he glanced around until he spotted his retainer, Authur. He glided over, "which room is it?" He murmered quietly. The old man held up a room key with the number inscribed on it. The pale man took the key and glanced at it slowly.

"Ah, I see, very well then, I shall be down shortly, as soon as I get my room arranged."

He said with a faint half-smile at the human who served him so faithfully these many many years. He went up to his room, and about an hour later returned. His cloak was missing, so he was just clad in his silk shirt that was partially unbuttoned, his gloves, pants and boots. At his side was a sheathed longsword with the Ven Long Family crest on it's hilt. He stretched and yawned slightly.

"Well, now I'd better check out the town abit more thoroughly, since the arena's down, I'll have to get my fill of combat elsewhere."

He murmered to himself as he strode out of the inn and into the city streets.

James climbed up on top of the minibike again, leaning down over the handlebars, and he grinned at the Leviathan.

"Three days..." the man said, holding up a hand with three fingers extended, "...and the crew will arrive. Have the building plans ready by then so we can begin."

With that, he started up the engine again, and revved it twice before pushing it into gear and starting off. He drove one circle around Enki quickly before turning and heading out into the town; waving a hand behind his head whimsically in parting.

*Enki nods and waits for the man to be out of site, then looks around cuatiously for a moment. When said moment was finished with, Enki turns and begins walking down the dock*

A black ship started to pull into the docks of Latent, slowly from a distance, carried by an unnatural wind which reeked of death and decay. At first glance, there would be nobody on the ship, its decks empty as ropes swung around loosely and boards creaked eerily as it slowly drifted into the dockside. With tattered sails and a misty fog which followed it in, the vessel thunked against the wooden planks of the docks before stopping completely, even at its low speed, it's weight alone was enough to splinter and split several boards and crush them sinking into the depths below. And it was there, a shattered black ship of death.
