After Maven got Phyra's coat shiny they ate some food and Maven jumped back on Phyra's back and headed out once more heading Cerulean to spend the night in a center.
Once more Maven let Phyra pick the pace they would go. Maven paid attention to Phyra's muscles for when she wanted to Phyra would jolt into a run.
I wonder if you'll be okay to spend the night Phyra A water based city is making me question if we should just ride on through. I'll just see how Phyra is by that time.
Maven was enjoying the ride so much as Phyra took a slow pace. She pulled out one of her books and stuck her nose in it while paying attention to her pokémon.

Keegan's stomach growled, as if on cue. "Dinner sounds good," he said, glancing at his watch. "It was short notice... I shouldn't be cross with him if he takes a while. He peered into the case again, grinning at the egg. "I guess you're stuck with me for a while longer," he laughed, standing up and stretching. "Let's get this show on the road, then," he said, nodding to Dante as he picked up the case once more. "Let's see what a pretty young lady you make." Keegan's amusement was as clear as day. It was nice to feel something other than frustration for the time being.

Kasiya sighed, and shook her head, glancing back up at Mitsu, and ignoring the puzzled look she received from Shocker. "He's mad at me," she said simply, crossing her arms. "He stormed off like an angry child to go and sulk." I'm gonna kill that Crobat when he comes back, she thought angrily, clenching her teeth. Shocker reached over and gave her a reassuring pat on the arm. Kasiya chuckled, and patted the Raichu's head. "Thanks, Shocker." She looked back up at Mitsu. "You see, we just came from Fortree City. Fang and I had an unsanctioned match against Winona, for a TM." She thought of the shining disc in her backpack, and frowned. "She clobbered us, and we even had a huge type advantage." Disappointment lingered in her voice as her gaze dropped to the floor. I never expected that Tropius to know Hyper Beam, she thought, replaying the battle in her mind. Everything seemed to go wrong right from the start. Now that she thought of it, the battle had been very one-sided. "I'm not cut out for gym battles in Hoenn," she went on, still staring at the ground. "You and Mike must be really tough to be able to defeat the gym leaders in this region." She looked up at the nearly-forgotten battle going on before them, tears stinging the corners of her eyes. This place is way out of my league.

A few moments later, the still-trembling Rocket grunt returned to Violet, Mai in tow. The admin had only recently returned, and, after receiving an earfull from an angry Giovanni over having not completed her last mission, now stood staring at the woman before her, arms folded. The slender, lovely Espeon, Serenity, sat patiently at her trainer's heels, her ears and tail quivering ever so slightly as she read the aura around the strange woman. "Can I help you?" Mai asked flatly, wondering what she could possibly want. "I'm terribly sorry, but our leader, Giovanni, isn't accepting gym challenges at this time."

Sighing Dante picked himself up off of the bench. "Yes well, lets hope I make a pretty girl. You should hope to since your the one going to be seen with me." Pausing he glanced over at Kenny holding the egg in his little ghostly hand's unlike him Kenny didn't have trouble with the wiggling egg. Shaking his head he turned his gaze back to Keegan. "So dinner or shopping first?"

Upon hearing the return of the rocket and a new person Violet turned and stared at her for a moment her hands on her hips. Meowth who was watching made his way over and jumped up onto Violets shoulder next to where Shugah rested. "I all ready have this gym badge, no I just wish to speak with Giovanni." She paused for a moment. "That is if it isn't to much trouble. After all he might be able to get something he wants from me." Upon hearing this last part Meowth gave Violet a strange look, he hadn't heard that Violet was willing to trade something for whatever she was after.

((Oh noes! I just lost my Quick Attacks! I totally forgot to check on that update. I'll make sure not to use those again till they learn them. xd ))
"Good now use Constrict Onix!" Brock shouted to his pokemon now that it had trapped the Vaporeon in it's rocky hide. "Use Water Gun to get slippery and get out of there!" Mag countered.
Tsunami let out a stream of water up into the air so that it landed right back down coating both pokemon in a more lucid layer. Onix meanwhile began to hold even tighter onto the smaller prey. But the tactic backfired as it shot out like the cork of a popgun.
"Great job Tsunami! Let's hit it with another Surf attack!" Onix thundered foreward and launched a white hot glowing tail foreward, an Iron Tail. The attack smashed into the ground nearby missing Vaporeon by inches. It ran up the nonglowing section of the tail as water begant to rush behind it in a large wall. Tsunami jumped away in the final seconds as the wave crashed smack dab into the Onix's face.

Maven and Phyra continued down the road towards Cerulean. Before hitting Mt Moon they stopped for something to eat. Maven pulled out a blanket from her bag and another sandwich and she fed Phyra and pulled out a book as she leaned against a boulder.
"We'll stay here for a bit Phyra we have been making great time."
Maven stretched out as Phyra lied down resting up.

"I see," Mai said, nodding. "You can go now," she added, casting a dark look at the terrified grunt. He didn't need to be told twice, and quickly fled the area. Her gaze returned to Violet. "He's very busy at the moment, but feel free to wait, if you want. He shouldn't be too long." Serentity looked up at her trainer, puzzled by her words, but then became content to watch the Meowth perched atop Violet's shoulder.

"I will wait, I am not in any great hurry." She said calmly, eying the grunt that fled she commented boredly. "You should teach your members to have a spine." Shugah just floated around some befor staring curiosly at the other psychic pokemon, she didn't encounter many of her own type.
Meowth who was on her choulder gave her an odd look. "Well I am sure it's not everyday that your pokemon gets taken down by a trainer instead of the pokemon themselves." He said in minor defense, after all he used to be part of Team Rocket. Sensing a gaze on him he turned and saw the Espeon looking at him. "What?!" he asked somewhat suprised.
"Doesn't matter, you should be prepaired to face anything trainer and pokemon alike." She said determindly.

When Z woke up the morning light was peeking through the window beside his bed. He sat up and yawned. Spun around to bring his feet off of the bed. Ho looked at the table next to his bed and saw that Shino's pokeball was sitting there. Z smiled and picked up the pokeball. Z had put the kanji for speed on the very top of the pokeball when he began his pokemon journey. It was his way of praying that Shino would evolve soon into a ninjask. Z clicked the small button on the front of the pokeball and it expanded some. Z then clicked it once more and a red beam of light shot releasing Shino. "Cada!" He said loudly and jumpe onto Z's lap. "Shino I think it is just about time to leave mauville so we can really start our journey. I think we should go to Pewter city in Kanto so we can earn our first badge and then continue on to the rest of the gyms. If we don't start now Lyn and Amy will ger ahead of us." Z said and Shino noded seriously.

"I'm happy you agree." Z said smirking Shino jumped off of his lap and onto his shoulder. Z stood up and pumped his fist in the air. "We are off to get our first gym badge!" Z said loudly. Z had to duck to avoid shoe thrown at him by one of the people in the sleeping area he had woken up. After apologising to the various people he had woken up Z walked outside with Shino on his shoulder. Z walked to the train station and bought a ticket to Pewter city. The train arrived in about an hour and Z walked onto it getting a seat near the back. Z saw a poster on one of the walls of the train and took a look at it. "Pokemon Contest! Beginer competition in Cerulean City. Every wednsday at 5:00! Show off your pokemon's skills and put your name in the history books!" It said in big colorful letters. "Hmmm. That sounds cool. And it happens to be in Cerulaen which is near Pewter. Think we should enter Shino?" Z asked looking down at Shino who was on his lap again. "Nin!" He said nodding happily. "Well it starts at 5:00 on wednsday so we have a while before it starts. We should sleep some on the train so that we can be ready to train as soon as we get off." Z said and put Shino back into his pokeball. Z closed his eyes and leaned over on the arm res of the chair falling to sleep easily.

Fang didn't seem mad when he flew into me. Mitsu listened to Kasiya's story as she explained the situation. "Don't you dare say that," Mitsu said flatly. "Not cut out for this region? Yeah right." Mitsu began. "Kasiya, you're the toughest trainer I know, don't let one loss get you down. And Fang, I'm sure he was just disappointed, but he seemed a lot better." Mitsu gave Kasiya a small reassuring smile before turning to watch Mike's match. I'm the one that's not cut out for these battles. Karri turned towards Mitsu, as always she had been lurking somewhere within Mitsu's mind. The Psychic Pokemon gave Mitsu a look and then shook her head.

Mai chuckled. "You're preaching to the choir," she told Violet. "The losers down in the recruitment offices must be slacking off, letting in such incompetence." Serentity cast a passing glance at the Chimecho, but quickly turned to look back at the Meowth. "Don't worry about her," Mai went on, glancing down at the Espeon. "She probably just likes you."
"Espe!" Serenity barked, her pronged tail flicking back and forth in aggrivation.
"A talking Meowth," Mai shook her head. "Must be nice to finally have gotten away from that pair of losers." Her thoughts trailed to the stack of paperwork detailing the countless failures the trio had racked up, not to mention the expenses.

Keegan only laughed. "Well, traditionally then, shouldn't I be buying you dinner?" Keegan continued to enjoy the situation, glancing at his watch. "Let's go shopping first," he concluded. "Get it over with, I suppose." After they'd cleared the crowd, Keegan clicked a Pokeball on his belt, releasing Artemis. The cheerfull little Taillow perched on his shoulder, chirping and singing away happily. "It's good to see you too, Artemis," he said, reaching up with his free hand to tickle her under the chin.
