"Hmmm... Not as good, I'm afraid to say... His whole garden died... And he's been kinda down ever since... I'm glad no one else has seen him in awhile.. The poor kid looks horrible... And all he does everyday is sit there among the dead flowers, trying his best to make them live again..." He said frowning for a second, but trying to put a happy face on.

Alowicous Snuffalupagus Elisabeth shook her head in disbelief, "Are you sure you want to know? It's saddening really..." Touching at her stomach she sighed and looked to Marie for encouragement. "It's not that fascinating," she said, "I fell in love, and that's where it all began." Launching into it Elisabethe described how she had become pregnant and told to get it taken out of her. How she had tried to drink, prod, and pray it away; and how when nothing worked he had left her. "During birth I guess my heart gave out," she continued, "It feels now like I died of a broken heart." listened to her story, feeling saddened by the ending. Her heart went out to her even though Marie couldn't say she'd even been through or had witnessed the same. "I'm sorry that happened to you." She wasn't sure what to say to her that would be comforting in any way. Was there comfort after death? Suffering would end, she was sure, but her soul still walked the material plain. "I can't say that I know the feeling. Hell...I don't think I've ever been in love...but, if you want the company, I'd be your friend."

Elisabeth perked up and smiled genuinely at Marie. "You would do that?" Reaching across the table to touch Marie she pulled back before she did so. Shaking her curls she giggled softly and looked her new friend in the eyes, "And maybe I can help prove to your sister that ghosts exist."

Marie laughed, light and airy as it usually sounded. "Oh, I'd love to prove that to her. " Her eyes glittered with happiness after gaining a new friend. For her, that was a great achievement. "And, if I may ask, maybe, would you let me paint you someday? I know it sounds silly...but I'd love to catch your beauty in a painting."
