"I can't talk to him." Blaise said angrily, "I've been looking for him all day. He's nowhere."

She didn't feel like talking anymore. Sometimes the best cure for being angry was to just be angry for a while. Blaise looked around, trying to Avoid Azmaria's gaze. She just wanted to leave and let it all be over with.

"We need to find Rosette and Chrono. Before it gets too late."

"I would like that." Annalise smiled, "But you should rest first. I can wait."

Blaise didn't say anything to Azmaria, but instead looked up into the tree. She could barely see Chrono or Rosette among the many blossoms but she knew they were there.

"I'm sorry to interrupt." Blaise called up with a small smile, "But we should get going, yes? We wouldn't want Rizelle showing up for the wedding dinner rehearsal, now would we?"

Annalise stood and curtsied to Jacob before turning to attend to her master.

"Yes, sir. Is there anything I can help you with sir?"

"Of course they do." Blaise smiled, forgetting about their previous conversation. "We should get back to the others, Rosette and Chrono will come."

Blaise turned and began heading for the fountain area again with a small smile and a backwards glance to the tree.

Annalise felt her heart flutter briefly as her eyes brightened. Could it be true? Could they have found her older sister? Blaise. The name came back and seemed to echo endlessly in her mind, giving her a warm feeling.

"Sir, is what you say true?" Anna said, trying to keep as calm and professional as possible. "Have you really found my sister?"

Blaise had to stifle a snort as they got back to where the fountain was. Loque and Booker were talking casually, but stiffened as Blaise came up.

"As you were, gentlemen." she commanded, "And you needn't be doing that every time I leave and come back. Think of it this way, we can have a familiarity beyond military."

Annalise bounced excitedly, but was missing one key piece of information.

"Sir, where is she? Will I be able to see her?" she asked eagerly.

Blaise smiled gently down at Azmaria, "Yes, they will be coming with us. And, not at all. They may be different but that does not make them superior, and they know this. And if either of them get stuffy with us then I'll see to it that they're suspended by their ankles again."

Looking up, Blaise saw that Rosette and Chrono hadn't gotten there yet, "Well, I'm going to see what's taking the lovebirds so long this time. I'll be back in a minute."

But Blaise hadn't taken but two steps away from the babbling fountain when she heard someone give a shout.

"Blaise!"

Looking up she could barely make out Kaden running towards her before he full on tackled her, sending them both into the fountain with a rather large splash. He was pinning her down but with his arms around her and his lips pressed against hers. She sat there, strangely relaxed for a moment, in a strange forgetful bliss, allowing him to kiss her. Then suddenly reality began pouring down on her like the water of the fountain.

Pushing him off of her she gave a yelp, "Kaden! What in the world?!"

Kaden grabbed her shoulders, forcing her to stay still, "Don't leave! Blaise, don't leave without me, I'm coming with you!"

"Well, I wasn't leaving you twit!" she shouted in exasperation, trying to get back to her feet in the fountain, "I was going to go find Rosette!"

"Thank you, sir." Anna said happily, "Thank you so much!"

Booker leaned downward slightly to speak to Azmaria without taking his eyes off the scene, "Eh . . . I'm not so sure."

Blaise got to her feet and Kaden did the same. She tried to step from the fountain but the bottom of it was slippery. Her feet went out from beneath her and she fell into Kaden who in turn fell back into the water. As he looked her in the eye he could see that she was annoyed with him. When he took her arm she pulled it away.

"We need to get going." she said coldly.

"Blaise, stop. I'm sorry." Kaden said, taking her arm again. She didn't pull away this time. "I was over reacting. I didn't mean it, I was just so scared of leaving . . . I didn't want to feel guilty for leaving. But I won't, because I'm going for the right reason. I'm going for you."

Blaise's gaze softened and she almost smiled before jumping at Kaden to hug him. He laughed and they helped eachother out of the fountain. Once they were standing again Loque made a very blatant, but strangely funny coment.

"You're wet."

Annalise nodded vigorusly, "Of course, sir. Anything to get my sister. I miss her so much. I thought she was dead . . ."

Blaise shrugged, not seeming all too worried about their wet state, "Not a problem."

She lifted the water from her and Kaden's clothes, creating a rather large orb of water floating in the air. Moving it quickly to the fountain she let it pour back in like water from a vase. Giving Kaden's hand a squeeze she let it go then looked to everyone else.

"We've delayed long enough." She said then looked to Chrono, "You know where we're going. Lead the way. And don't get us lost."

Blaise jumped slightly and looked up at the creature. Loque and Booker gave her uncertain looks and didn't aproach it untill she did.

"You all are just full of surprises aren't you?" she asked but didn't expect a response. She climbed up and Kaden followed. Then Booker and Loque came up warily. This was nothing any of them had ever seen before.

"I'd hate to see a turd from this thing." Booker mumbled under his breath. No one really heard it but Loque who gave him another hit on the head.
