But no, I would totally understand why he would be though.
He despises Akio, so losing to him would be really upsetting, and it would be SO funny.
Oh man, especially since Akio doesn't care at all. So beautiful.

That's been the plan this whole time! burning_eyes Actually, I don't think Dal would be that upset, unless he was already mad when he found out. Dal would probably understand, given that he himself has already done the same thing. That and, knowing what your comrades can do allows you to pick the best people to work with, best people to compliment your skills. mrgreen

Fair point. 3nodding In the village, combat was always, always team based. Sometimes the groups were huge, and sometimes not. In order for things to go smoothly, they need to know who works well with who, for making sure they have the highest return chance possible. Being that he takes to all things combat like a fish to water, he understands things like this. Being that he doesn't want people to die, specifically people he cares about (Like the people in his village), he put in the extra effort to be able to practice it. 3nodding

Akio, Corrinne, and Dal were all on a mission together, and a task came up with a high probability of the person doing it would die. Naturally, Dal offered to do it, but Akio basically said "No, if anyone should sacrifice their life, it should be me. None of you like me. Every single one of you has someone who cares about you, I have no one. I cannot allow you do do it." So he sacrificed his life, and everyone was sad. I don't even remember the context of the mission, not the task. But it was a thing.
