That was a dirty ******** move.
A man grunted, lurching forward and grabbing the lapels of the other's coat, snarling and glaring. This was no longer a gleeful test of might and worthiness. This was a dirty brawl.
A man smashes his head into the head of the rival, backing with sprays of sparkler white in his vision.

beach Lex transformed from enemy to meat as soon as he hit the sand. Knocked out by a vicious headbutt, Leslie's laugh rang out to accompany it, bright and clear and cruel. He fell to his knees next to the meat, fingers scrambling to shove up a sleeve, starving. There were others to attend to, but this was his, earned from the very start all on his own. He drooled, like the animal he was, at the thought of the red-stringy-copper tang that would soon be on his tongue, and he bit into it, digging in deep until blood filled his mouth, smearing around his face. hp 7 target lex damage 12 status red eye

[ BEACH ]She felt something hit her head, she was bothered on her important task. She jolted and pulled the dagger out, turning her head to Nellie. Ah, she remembered her, the sweet innocent girl that she was once also liked that. "What're you doing?" She asked with a cold flat tone, eyed didn't show any temperature. baby_gwing She didn't have red eye? She was in stage 2 of green-eyed infection. Sorry, I don't know any update, I am too tired to read. Quote: Hunter: Shu? HP: 14/50 [stopped] Counter: 33

[ Courtyard ]Part of him hadn't expected an honest answer, but he waited. At first he thought she decided to be silent, but oddly enough he had a similar look on his face when he contemplated something too. So he waited laying on his back on the ground, scooting slightly closer so he could hear better if she decided to answer. She didn't disappoint. It was his turn to be silent now, thinking over her words carefully before responding. "The only way to feed a force of nature is to start the ball rolling down the hill, and be sure their are more hills where the last ends." That enough was true, it made perfect sense Morgana would need destruction in her life to keep going. But what happened when the ball was rolling fast enough it started to leap from hills to mountains? "If she wanted to cause pain, she succeeded tonight." It was his turn now to share something that he was unsure if Mimsy knew, she had offered information so it seemed only right to return some of his own. "Before this started someone. "He wouldn't mention who. "Mentioned a Grail, someone touching a Grail and that act starting this sickness." And that someone was seeking the island because of that act, perhaps the grail is what lead Morgana to them? "I haven't met this Morgana personally," He hoped he never would." But that doesn't seem a likely trigger someone so destructive would use. It seems too subtle." QuinnHP: 10 Virus: Cured

CHANCE - LIGHTHOUSEHe didn't say anything for a few moments, Chance just watching Otto quietly. His fingers absently smoothed over the fabric of his jeans in idle, thoughtless gestures, and he leaned his head back against the wall of the lighthouse.
"You can't save everyone," he said softly. "No one can do that. But you didn't kill us, Otto. Maebe might be a little beaten up, and my singing days might be behind me for a while, but we're not dead."
Chance's eyes flickered a little. "You got us here because you care about us, right? You didn't give up on either one of us, and here we are."

OTTO - LIGHTHOUSE Otto sniffed, finding himself calming down, if only a little. He was just so frustrated. He felt so.. so... "Hey.." He murmured, finally looking up. "Do you...remember that hourglass mark I had?"

Well that seemed to have gotten her attention. Shu. That's right. Nellie had talked to her on Twitter before. Her name was Shu.
"What's Shu doing?" She returned the question that was posed, refusing to back down now as she watched the other female hunter closely for any signs of aggression.

CHANCE - LIGHTHOUSEHe gave a slow nod, but it hurt, so he stopped moving, Chance relaxing back against the lighthouse wall, meeting Otto's blue eyed gaze with a dark one of his own.
"I remember," he said quietly. "The one by Death, the one for a favor."

[ BEACH ]She called her name, meaning she knew her. In a few second of thinking, she wondered she would pretend she knew nothing or acting like an infected person. Peeking at the wound on her leg - she was so close....to make it happen. "Mind your own business." She sneered. "Go and see if your friends are okay, there's nothing you should bother here." She hissed, grabbing her dagger in case another hunter wanted to rob it from her. She also made her aggressiveness overthrown, such a great chance thanked to the virus. "Don't interfere with me." LIGHTHOUSEOtto nodded. "It was apparently a wish. And... there was this boy with no face. He took me n' Gale away, remember?" To Chance, it was the vines that had dragged the pair away. "It was a wish... and the kid said he'd leave the island if me or Gale gave him our wish." Gale was one of a handful that had that mark. Their small mission that had ended with them all speaking with Death. "So.. I gave it to him. Cause I wanted to keep the island from hurting more.. I thought it'd save everyone." He breathed in slowly, painfully. "So he took it away. The mark is gone. And.. after he took it he had an hourglass.. he said it was a blessing of death." And that Otto had squandered the gift useless.. that it was better out of his hands. "And then the kid was gone. And the vines... but then... everyone got crazy." Had he done that? He'd saved them from vines but... was that really his doing? "I dunno if I did the right thing or not. Maybe I shoulda kept it for myself... but I really thought I was doing good."

[ BEACH ]She didn't wait for Nellie to respond because she spotted something. She sighed and moved with the injured leg, cursing Lucky for it. "Stop it, you will regret that." She knocked the handle of the dagger onto Leslie's forehead. If she can't kill herself, she can make others do it. Quote: Hunter: Shu? HP: 14/50 [stopped] Counter: 33

"Horace and the others are okie. Nellie has already made sure of that." She had a determined look on her face as she retorted, refusing to be distracted from what was at hand regardless of what the Death Intermediate said to her.
"Don't do it Shu. The Shu that Nellie knows over Twitter wouldn't do this. Shu is always cheery and upbeat. It's the infection that's going around that's messing with Shu's mind." She saw the look in Shu's eyes, trying to keep her tone calm and collected as she held up her arms and approached the Asian female, trying to see if she could sort this out through words rather than resorting to force. "Nellie doesn't know how to cure this infection but Nellie will help Shu find someone who can do it."

CHANCE - LIGHTHOUSEA wish from Death. Chance just gave a brief and small nod at the mention of Gale, who must have been then small blonde kid that had gotten dragged away with Otto. Wrapped in vines, carried to the beach, Chance hadn't known what had happened to the two of them before everyone else started arriving.
But the mark was gone. The favor for Death, in spite of Otto having not used it, was no longer an imprint on his skin. Chance's eyes flickered automatically to Otto's arm, and then back up to his face again, blinking at him.
After a moment, a slow, small smile spread across his pale face.
"Otto," said Chance. "I'm ******** proud as hell of you right now, and if I could hug you, I would, so just pretend I am."
His expression softened visibly. "But seriously, Otto. Not many people would have done the same thing. You did good. The vines, everything, the craziness..." He lifted a hand and gave a brief wave before his energy ran out again, fingers lowering.
"You did a good thing, Otto."

[ BEACH ]She scoffed hearing what Nellie said, she must be growing up in a happy family, that innocence was too much an eyesore. "I'm fine, I know what I'm doing. That's nothing you can do." She hissed, continued to pretend to be aggressive. "Go away, or I will stab this dagger in you." She gave a warning, she didn't care Nellie's concern, she was in good progress until she stepped in. "I don't have anything you want. No one would thank you for doing it. Your curiosity won't be satisfied." Quote: Hunter: Shu? HP: 14/50 [stopped] Counter: 33

"Even if so, Shu can't stop Nellie from trying!" If Shu was of sound mind and knew what she was doing as she claimed, Nellie stopped that particular train of thought right there and then lest she lost sight of what she ought to do. It was for the best that she focused her attention entirely on what was going on in the present. Act first, think later. "Nellie's not afraid of Shu's dagger. If Shu's going to try and hurt Nellie, Nellie will just have to get that dagger away from Shu then."
There wasn't anyone in their immediate vicinity. Well, unless you counted Leslie who was still very much red-eyed and whom Shu was trying to draw the attention of by knocking the hilt of her dagger against his head. She aimed a kick at Leslie's side, trying to draw his attention to herself even as she continued to attempt at reasoning things out with the other huntress.
"That may be true but Shu has friends. So many many friends who will be sad if Shu was hurt or dead." She refused to give up on her no matter what. Her innocence and ignorance to the ways of the world was both a blessing and a curse at the same time. "Nellie will be sad too even if that doesn't count for anything much..."
