"Rems, use bite!" Michelle called out. She honestly couldn't remember if Electrikes can paralyze a pokemon by touch but the Meowth had already touched it, along with the other pokemon in the group.
The feline hissed at the electric dog then darted close to bite where there wasn't metal. Sadly he didn't do much this time either.

Ajax bristled at the appearance of the new Pokémon, the gadgets alien -- and, by extension, dangerous -- to him. Using his small size to his advantage, he attempted to dart in close before any electricity could strike him.

Spirit took the hit but struck back at the Electrike. She wasn't going down without a fight. She attacked the offending Pokemon with Fury Cutter, hoping it would do a good amount of damage.

  "Aah!" Fifi started to yelp, but in a flash, Alastyn was between her and the Electrike, kicking out at the pokemon. The smaller pokemon bit and snapped, causing Alastyn to back off a little. Alastyn: 17 Electrike: 52

Ajax was hit, and hit hard, but he wasn't out of the fight just yet. Gathering his paws beneath him, he circled back and aimed a slew of punches at his opponent.

Ajax's limited movepool was working against him; he could only attack from close-up, and the effects of it showed in the form of sparks running across his coat. Baring his fangs in a grimace, he continued his attacks.

Oki attempted to keep his distance by firing a Dark Pulse at the Electrike. But it responded in kind with a blast of electricity that jolted through Oki. He slumped to the ground and didn't get up, prompting Anise to recall him.

Katori was late to the battle party, he'd gotten distracted and ended up away from the main party when the Elektrike attacked, He swore when he heard the battling going on, Danae rushing ahead of him, using Quick Attack on the electric type pokemon

Zak had been off on his own, especially when the group started to argue amongst itself. He and Phrixus had set off the explore some more. After all the boy saw everything as an adventure. Once the group had settled down and they started to move out again Zak and Phrixus were on their way back. Phrixus was the one who started to track were the rest of their group had went.
The sites along the way were horrible. It was clear that a few battles had taken place. It was the sound of a battle which had caused the houndoom to run off, his trainer close behind.
A low growl escaped the houndoom its muzzle as a jet of flame escaped the hondoom causing the flame thrower to hit the Electike at close range. Phrixus was also hit by the Electrike's attack, but he wasn't going to let that slow him down. Phrixus waited, until it was time to strike again, waiting for the right moment to do so.
Phrixus' HP: 16

Lilliputti used flamethrower once again, but was cut short as another shock ran right through her. Gepardo pulled her away from the small battlefield and watched, taking the idle time to think of the little bottle he was still holding.

Corbin had kept to the back of the group after all the arguing that had gone on. He was getting tired and didn't do anything to try and stop the arguments. As the group discovered the map he made sure that Eliza was by him and followed the rest of the group.
At the discovery of the campsite and then the pokemon he frowned. He certainly didn't like the looks of any of this. "Alright Aaron. Time to go at it." He said setting down his Riolu.
Aaron watched as Ajax and the other pokemon fought and thought of what he could do. He waited for an opening and then rushed in with a force palm.

Spirit saw that the Electrike was getting weak. She knew that she had to keep going. This Electrike was tough but it was a worthwhile opponent. She struck at the Electrike with another Dragon Breath attack, hoping it would do more damage.
