Really, he should not have been chasing poms. The fireball proved it, though at least being set on fire was warm. At least, until he had to shove his shoulder into the snow to smother it out.

Amphi would like Avery to know that it was hard to chase poms in snow, and that as she tripped, it wasn't hard to get it down her shirt. She is very sad but at least she isn't a mermaid in the snow!

Luck by Roll!Today. Today was the day. Today he was going to catch that orange raccoon b*****d and end the damn Loony Toon episode that this chase had turned into. He took off his slippers. Got his footing. And he waited. Green and pink racoons flashed by, but he ignored them. He saw orange- orange and white, he left it alone. He didn't sit. He watched the entire collection of snow drifts, until finally, there was a whiskered hint of the bandit-faced son of a b***h that had been giving him so much trouble.He crept, careful of the crunching snow and edging his way over towards the corner of the booth. He drew in his breath. It was enough, and Ol' Orange shot out from the snow, with Harrison hot on his trail, the pom leaped... the tail was in view, the fur brushed his fingers- Harrison ended up with nothing but a handful of snow. Rhiannon spotted a pom and tried to grab it but it dived into the snow bank. She tried to dive in after it but got stuck in the bank instead. She rolled her eyes as she pulled herself out, more snow down her top.

It could have gone a whole ******** lot better, in the chaos of trying to catch the little guys he managed to get set on fire by some other little minipet. Finally the snow was good for something.

Having successfully stolen two minis from the angry pom guarding the booth, Kemnebi was quite willing to risk more injury in order to catch another. Sprinting to the booth, the were-panther made a wild grab...and missed. Ah, well, better luck next time.

A very depressed looking zombie was wandering by the snowy booth once more. A poms went frolicking by in front of him, and in his over emotional and somewhat inwardly enraged state he let instincts take over, and his body reacted instantly, going after what might have been considered prey.
He ended up just taking a nose dive into the snow bank and completely missing the poms. That was startling enough to have him staggering back to his feet with one pale eye glaring in the direction the poms took off to.

He was about to leave when he saw a few pets sitting around completely unattended, and he stopped, considering for a moment whether or not he should just take one.

Kemnebi took off after one of the minis running around. But this one had to have been the one she chased last time. Once again, the pom dove into a snowbank and, obviously not learning from last time, Kemnebi followed and got snow down her shirt.
