❣ Ren laughs and says to Buttercup still joking, "I don't think you'd be able to fly with your feathers wet!" She turns to Foxpelt, "You were in the pack before, right? If that is correct I see no reason why you can't still be in the pack." She looks at Strongheart, "Did Strongheart put you up to this?" She laughed softly. ❣

Ｂｕｔｔｅｒｃｕｐ How does the ᴍєαםσω flower its bloom [ unfold ] ? Because the lovely little flower is ʄ ɾ ε εsym Down to its root ↘↘ symphonic symphonic wind symphonicand in that freedom boldsymph  Buttercup smiles at Ren, then yawns.
"Well, all this excitement has made me tired, I think I will take a short nap." She said, curling up on the grass. Before long buttercup was snoozing contently.

"She said I should speak with you since you're the new alpha. I was in the pack before, but I just wanted to make sure it was ok for me to come back." Foxpelt replied.
Strongheart saw Ren looking at her and asked, "What? What did I do?" Strongheart continued to look at Ren having an innocent look on her face.
Foxpelt looked back at Strongheart and laughed before walking over to her and sitting down.

Strongheart looked at Foxpelt and asked, "You realize that I'm lead pack healer now right?"
"Really? Though I guess that would be right, since you were Ren's apprentice before and she was lead healer." Foxpelt replied, "So, how is everyone since I left?"
"I'm fine, well I was an emotional wreck earlier because I kept thinking you weren't ever coming back. However, I'm fine now." Strongheart told him. She was going to mention about Flame, yet didn't feel that it was her place to say anything.

"That's good." Foxpelt replied before going to get a drink from the river.
Strongheart laid down and looked up at the clouds in the sky. She remembered how she used to look at the clouds as a pup and try to see if she saw anything in them. She smiled as she remembered some of her happier memories as a pup and tried to avoid remembering ones about her mother.

"I was remembering how I used to come outside of the den as a pup and look at the clouds and try to see things in them." Strongheart replied.
After Foxpelt got a drink he went over to Strongheart and laid next to her.

Foxpelt looked at Strongheart and felt bad that her mother abandoned her as a pup.

Strongheart looked at Ren and replied, "She didn't want me having fun as a pup. She always scolded me for going outside of the Den. I always felt that she didn't want me and I knew I was right when she left me here alone."
Foxpelt nuzzled Strongheart, trying to make her feel better.

"It's ok. I have the pack. They care about me and that's all I need." Strongheart replied.
Foxpelt put his head on Strongheart and said, "You know I'll always be here for you. I can imagine Ren will be too. You've got friends here and even if some members of the pack don't fully like you, I'll be here for you."
Strongheart rolled over and laid against Foxpelt. "Should we head back to the den or do you two want to stay here for a little bit longer?" she asked.
