Professor Kenneth Reynolds

Kenneth reach out and placed his large hand on-top of Lillian's and said "You don't have to say anything, just vow to get better, to move on, to use the pain to make positive changes to our world. That is all that I..no we ask of you." Kenneth stood up and then turned around to stare out over the lake. "Remember that your not alone in this, many have suffered at the hands of those who practice the Dark Arts, yet we all find away to move on."

"I'll try my best, then." She said with a smile, looking out onto the lake as well. The sunlight reflected in the water made the surface of the lake shimmer and glow like it was glass. The sky reflected in it was a clear blue, and birds soaring in the sky looked like they were swimming in the reflection in the water. She leaned back in her wheelchair and ran her fingers through the soft ringlets in her hair, her other hand hanging lazily over one of the arms of her wheelchair. She was so excited and eager to go home with her daughter this summer before, but would this summer be the same as the last one with the way she felt and acted? She'd make it the best summer it could be...

As he stood there gazing out over the lake with Lillian he couldn't help but look across at the other shore and and the tree that sat close to the lakes edge. Kenneth and Aludra's tree, the one that he had "carved" their initials into that night they had their moon lite picnic dinner. He was glad that the school year was coming to a close, he'd get to spend a lot more time with Aludra. He really missed all that time they spent together when he was still here at the school as a 7th year. But he also felt good knowing that he was getting to teach and pass on his skills in Defense to his friends and the other students in the Castle. The day was still young, maybe he could find Aludra once he return to the castle with Lillian and they could spend the rest of the evening under their tree until the sun went down.

Lillian saw Kenneth staring at a random tree, and when she saw it she remembered seeing his and aludra's initials on it a while ago. She gave a small smile then leaned back in her wheelchair and sighed. He probably wanted to find Aludra or do something else rather than sit here and dwell on the past.
"It's a saturday, so Al isn't busy. I think I'll try and find her...would you push me up to the Great Hall?" She asked with a smile.

Lillian's voice brought Kenneth back to the here and now, he tore his gaze off the lake and looked back around at her. "What's that? You want me to wheel you back to the Great Hall? Ya I can do that." He walked around to the back of the chair then leaned forward and unlocked the wheels. He gripped the chairs handles, pivoting Lillian around on the spot and said, "I bet you looking forward to some real food after spending so much time in the Hospital Wing. I know I was glad when I was finally allowed to go home and eat some of my Mum's recipes," as they headed back toward the castle.
[[ We are on the opposite side of the lake from that tree, unless you go like eagle vision you wouldn't be able to see those marks on the tree. lol Next post will be in GH. ]]

[Sorry guys. I had a family tragedy and lost interest in roleplaying however sing tells me that if I don't come back, I shall be hounded or bugged to death.]  Daemon SaDiablo
Seventh year Slytherin prefect Sanitys a fragile thing. You never truly value it until it slips your grasp. The male had decided this as he felt his own sanity fade. Images of a murder had haunted him like Peeves. Although even the poltergeist, evil as could be, had sensed such mental weakness in the powerful young male and steered clear, fearing damage to himself. Words chased themselves around like demons in his dreams, which were, of late, very dark.
Standing by the lake, the male felt his eyes sag. Kennith's request to be his best man had stirred in him. It was an almost as if a forgotten flick of pride and honour had burst in his heart. He had bathed and shaved, and now sat by the dark lake, meditating. His mind, what he had regathered of it, anyway, had reported with despair that much of his self lay scattered or destroyed. Meditation was drawing back much of it.
He once again knew his own name.
He was Daemon SaDiablo. Leader of the SaDiablo family

Aludra Yvette... So much walking around from place to place today... it was incredible she was even still standing as Aludra made her way towards the ancient castle.. It was a beautiful day at Hogwarts, and even lovelier on the grounds. The sun was shining in full glorly making it a warm day; it would be perfect for a dip in the lake or a nice picnic outing. She stopped at the entrance to the school and turned to gaze at the view of the lake and the grounds. It was so beautiful. ...7th Year Slytherin

Lillian rolled out from the castle, still a bit shaky after what she'd seen in her office. She looked around and standing near her was Aludra. "Aludra!" She called, rolling towards her. When she reached her she waved and gave her a weak smile. "Hey. So did you hear? The Divination teacher resigned. Our staff is a member short..." She gave a bit of a nod and then grinned. "You know a lot about Divination...got top marks as I recall. Unless I've gotten so crazy that I've forgotten, I'm pretty sure you wanted to be in teaching as well? Good with kids, huh?" She decided to get straight to the point, but she loved asking a bit slowly to see the face of the person she hired light up. "You want the job?"

Aludra Yvette... As she stared out into the grounds, Aludra heard her name being called from behind her. She half expected it to be Kenneth since she had so rudely left him in the Great Hall to eat by himself. Much to her delight and suprise, she saw it was the Headmistress Lillian rolling towards her in a wheelchair with a rather fragile smile on her face. Aludra returned the favor with a hearty smile accomanied with an enthusiasic wave hello. "Good afternoon Headmistress, its so good to see you up and about! I hope your feeling well." Her words were hushed and her expression fell into one of shock as the headmistress spoke. Yes, she had known for awhile the the Divination teacher had resigned, its not like the class was very active when she had taken it. The further Lillian went on the more Aludra's face had grown into one of excitement and anticipation. Was she offering her a job?! As soon as she heard the words, 'You want the job?', Aludra let out an eccentric squeal of delight. "Do you mean it ma'am!?" she asked in a hurried voice. Her hands were trembling from the sudden shock her mind was getting. Just a few moments ago she was worried she would never see her seconf home again, and now she was being offered the chance of her life to become a part of the magic that was Hogwarts. ...7th Year Slytherin

Lillian grinned. A smile like the one on Aludra's face was priceless.
"Haha of course I do. Can I take that as a yes?"
She could just imagine Aludra teaching now. Aludra had always been one of the best students and most mature. She'd be the youngest teacher at Hogwarts, but Lillian knew she'd be up to the job. Lillian was a very trusting person, and Aludra was not the type to let someone down.

Aludra Yvette... "Of course! I've seen meaning to mention to you if you needed some extra help around Hogwarts, I could fill in. Thank you so much!" Aludra was in a moment of utter delight. She would be teaching at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as the Divination Professor when school resumed! But that ment so many things, like preparing class schedules, getting books and materials, prechasing new robes for her new career... and there was so little time to do it in! With the wedding coming she would have to kick it into overdrive to get what she needed to do done. "You can count on me Headmistress, you have my word that I will not let you nor the school down." Aludra paused for just a moment before continueing. "And, Lillian, if I may be so blunt... my wedding is coming up very soon and I was wondering... that if you weren't too busy..." she smiled as she said the last part, "Would you do me the honor of being one of my Bridesmaids?" ...7th Year Slytherin

"Of course you won't let me down, I know you won't, that's why I hired you after all." She laughed happily.
Her eyes widened at Aludra's question and then she grinned. "I'd love to! Congrats! You and Kenneth make such a lovely couple." She knew Kenneth and Aludra really did make a great pair, she wasn't just saying it. If they were both teachers now, she'd need to stay away from the Professor's lounge perhaps and give them room... She smiled to herself picturing Kenneth and Aludra both young teachers and the staff table. Callysto fluttered through her mind for a moment and she gave a bit of a smile.
"Congrats!" She repeated.

Daemon SaDiablo
Seventh year Slytherin prefect Daemon heard voices. These were different to the voices he heard in the forest, where he'd taken to sleeping, using the power of plain stealth to avoid trouble. One was in a wheelchair. The other was standing. He felt captivated. As he drifted closer, he recognised the pair. Aludra and the headmistresss. He tried to compose himself but knew he was slumped as if in defeat.
He slid closer, his walk that of a drunk. "good Morrow, ladies." he croaked. His voice hadn't been used in so long it almost hurt. Alarmed by the sounds he'd uttered, he went silent. Leader of the SaDiablo family

Aludra Yvette... Aludra let out a shy giggle and nodded in thanks. "Thank you Lillian, for everything." She could just imagine Kenneths face when she told him she had gotten an offer for a teaching position. She hoped he would be as excited as she was. In fact, she couldnt wait to tell him! Aludra smiled at the Headmistress and gave a little bow. "I am forever in your debt ma'am. Would you like to accompany you back inside? I was just heading in to finish my packing. I've finished quite a few classes this week and decided to pack them up e-" Her sentence was cute short as she heard a another voice. She turned and saw a familiar face she had not seen in what seemed like years. He looked... different. His once graceful walk was now that of a drunk, his velvet voice was cracked and maimed, and his high and mighty pride seemed to have diminished. "D-Daemon?" she marveled, too shocked to speak above a whisper. ...7th Year Slytherin
