"Oh!" Dragonfly exclaimed as she was presented the feather, "Thank you so much Kiro!"
From where she was hovering, she saw the presentation of the gift, and Iniko spiralled forward to fly through both Kiro and Dragonfly, before spinning around and giggling.
"Sanki very much Beefcake!" she said, waving her arms about, her eyes sparkling as she gazed at the feather, and Kiro and her mother, "Pretty feter yay!"
Dragonfly jumped as she felt the familiar tingling cold sensation as Iniko went through her, and she shivered a bit.
"She wakes me up that way every morning," she laughed, "Right through my head!"
She was partially joking, but at first the Aerandir had taken to going through everything she could.

Kiro also shivered as Iniko sped through him, smiling at her warmly. He also couldn't help but crack a grin as she called him Beefcake. Oh glory, if any of the others got hold of that there'd be no end of it! But he just smiled. It was amusing if nothing else.
Tsukai, realising Iniko had zoomed towards his guardian, bounced off after her. He hopped deftly onto Kiro's shoulder, perching there for a moment until she stopped swirling around and he could get a clear jump at her.
"Through your head? Every morning?" Kiro shook his head. "Wow... That must be... slightly disconcerting."

"You're telling me," Dragonfly giggled, "Wait till Tsukai hits that stage, you'll see!"
Dragonfly felt less nervous about concealing the bandages around Kiro, now that the other new. Still, she didn't want it to be a widespread thing that she had become injured.
"Kiro, don't tell the other's about my eye, kay?" she asked, tilting her head and sighing a bit, "I'm going to have enough troubles as it is making myself scarce, and people talking about a girl with an eye injury isn't going to help."
It was purely precautionary, and it might have sounded a little strange, but Dragonfly felt that it was important that she stayed quiet, and hopefully safe.
Iniko had never been one to stay still for long, and she lazily drifted from side to side, humming to herself, before giggling, and then going back to humming.

Kiro smiled as Dragonfly spoke about Tsukai, but then felt himself frown a little as she spoke of her injury again. "Don't worry, I won't say anything. Although it is..." he paused for a second, searching for a word. "Obvious? Anyone who sees you will be able to tell..." Another pause. "What happened anyway? You met someone who doesn't like you and you... fought? Over what?" He felt his tail twitch a little behind him. "And why're you so worried about anyone finding out?"
Tsukai was feeling in a chasing mood, his rump wiggling a little and his tail swaying over Kiro's shoulder, fully intending to leap into thin air and pounce Iniko. And suddenly he launched, his jump from Kiro's shoulder feather-light as he sailed throught the air towards the wispy Aerandir.
Pueblo had also moved from her spot on the floor some time ago, now standing rather close to Kiro - partly watching the other Aerandir play, but also wondering what the two 'adults' could be discussing...

She laughed softly and grinned lopsidedly to the other, lifting a hand to scratch the back of her head.
"Like I said, it's a long story. He thinks I have something that belongs to him, but I don't. But he won't listen, and he's willing to do anything to get it. And I mean anything... That includes attacking my family, my friends..." she visibly slumped, and sighed heavily, "And I can't have that happen. I can't have him finding where I live, who I talk to, nothing. I'm really lucky to be situated out here on Cetalu, if I wasn't it would probably already be too late... But anyway... I guess he spotted me as I was walking down the street in Gambino, and wouldn't you know it, he recognized me right away. I guess he must have followed me for awhile, because it was dark out when I finally started heading home... I take a shortcut through an alley to get there, right? Perfect time for him to jump me... He had a dagger, and me? I had squat. I was pretty lucky to just loose an eye,"
She smiled weakly as the memory of the fight flooded back to her. There had been so much blood... So much of it had been hers...
"Really lucky..." she repeated.
Iniko's eyes were closed, and she continued to rock back and forth in mid air, before yelping a little as someone sailed through her! Oh now that just wouldn't do!
She turned to face the now grounded Tsukai, and pouted at him, before her features split into a grin, and she raced to pass through him.

Kiro frowned a little as she related the story to him. The people on Cetalu seemed so... different from one another. Maybe that was what made for such an interesting community of people - the uniqueness of the people within it.
He glanced down a little towards the playing Aerandir, aware that Pueblo was standing beside him. But suddenly she started forward, giggling as Tsukai looked about, the little creature obviously bewildered. She hadn't even moved that time!! How come he hadn't touched her?! He whirled around again, springing out of the way as sehe rushed towards him. Ha!! If he couldn't touch her, then she couldn't touch him either!
Kiro tilted his head, wondering what to say to Dragonfly's explaination. "I'm sure you'll be safe here. Besides, if anything did happen, you have a whole island of people here who'd defend you," he added, smiling lopsidedly.

"I hope it doesn't come to that Kiro-chan," she replied, smiling weakly again, "I don't want to see this island disturbed by my stupid prescence,"
She dropped her head and sighed, before lifting it again and smiling to Kiro.
"I should probably be heading off. I have other people to talk to, and some things to do at home. It was really nice to see you again Kiro-chan, and thank you so much for the feather," she grinned, and turned to Iniko, "Kochan, we need to be going home,"
That disappointed Iniko. Things were just getting really fun with Tsukai!
Pouting, she waved to Pueblo and Tsukai, and spiralled towards Dragonfly.
"Kiro, if ever you feel like you want to, drop by my house for a bite to eat, or just for company in general," she smiled brightly, twirling Tsukai's feather gently in her fingers, and heading for the door.
"It's the one right in that direction," she said, pointing to it, even through the center walls, "It's got a bunch of lanterns hanging outside, so it's kind of hard to miss,"
She smiled brightly, and waved a bit, before heading out the door.
"Thank you Kiro-san," she called again.
Reluctantly, Iniko followed her out, still pouting, but managing to wave to the trio.

Kiro smiled and waved after them as Dragonfly and Iniko left. Pubelo waved too, and Tsukai contented himself by watching longingly after Iniko. He almost had her too!
"Well guys," said Kiro presently. "That's our good deed done for the day, right? What's say we go do some more colouring?"
"Yaaaaay!" called Pueblo, raising her arms in an comical manner and rushing off down the corridor. Kiro couldn't help but smile slightly, following her as she went, Tsukai still perched on his shoulder.

As quickly as she could manage without stirring up fear in Iniko, Dragonfly rushed to the community center.
"Please.. Someone be there..." she thought, pushing into the center, the door swinging shut behind her.
Iniko followed after Dragonfly as quickly as the wisp could manage, wondering what had put her guardian into such a frenzy.
"Kuwah?" Iniko asked, flying through the door as Dragonfly closed it.
"...Hello?" Dragonfly called, for the moment, ignoring Iniko.
She looked around the room in dismay. No one was there, and she had to leave quickly if she was going to catch the boat back to the mainland.

With a yawn a pink haired girl walked down the dirt road to the center. She rarly went there and figured since she had nothing better to do today that she'd bring Taranis there and see if they could find something to do. "Taranis keep up." she called to a stubby little gryphon that was walking behind her. She would have been carrying him, but he hated being held for too long. She quickly pushed her hair from her face, gently tucking it behind her ears before turning around and walking backwards down the path. "You know we'd get there fast if you let me carry you." she smiled looking at her charge.
The cat sided gryphon simply looked up at her. "Peep!" he shouted turning his head back down so he could watch where he was going. He would not let anyone carry him right now.
"Alright then." she shruged turning back so she was facing the proper direction. Finally after a bit more walking she came to the center. She reached out her hand and slowly pushed the door open, her charge waddling in. She stoped someone was there "Hello." she called out with a wave not aware of the others dismay.

Dragonfly turned on a dime, staring at the unfamiliar face, and frowning inwardly.
"Hello," she replied quickly, her eyes widening a bit as Iniko soared towards the other's and began dipping and diving through the stranger's body. Iniko giggled, before noticing that Yakobi had not arrived alone, and Iniko moved to stare at the strange gryphon.
"Hiloo!" she said, waving to the unfamiliar gryphon.

Yakobi laughed as the wisp floated though her body. This was the second time she'd seen a wisp, but this one was far more engergetic it seemed. "I'm Yakobi," she said bowing her head "And this little fuzzball is Taranis." The girl pointed to her charge.
"Peep?" Taranis spoke as he tilted his head and looked at the wisp in front of him. His little stubby tail wagged back and forth causing his whole body to wiggle. "Peep peep!" he shouted happily.

"My name is Dragonfly, it's nice to meet you Yakobi, although I do wish it had been at a different time," she lifted a hand to rub the back of her head, her bandages still visible over her left eye, "I'm trying desperatly to find someone who will look out for Iniko for a week or two. There's been a bit of an emergency back on the mainland and I have to catch the boat before it leaves for the week, and I get stuck here,"
Though Dragonfly didn't know Yakobi, the other was entrusted with caring for an Aerandir, so in Dragonfly's mind, she felt that in some way the other could probably suffice in looking out for Iniko while she was away... It wouldn't be that long, after all. But it would only be if the other didn't mind.
Iniko giggled at Taranis, and reached to put her hand through the gryphon's head, before retracting it, and giggling more.
"Lo Tarny! Tarny fuzzy!" Iniko grinned, before beginning to spiral and dance in circles.

"Nice to meet you Dragonfly." she said with a pause. She needed someone to watch her Aerandir? The pink haired girl thought for a moment, it would be interesting to take care of a wisp, and the Dragonfly did need to get to the mainland. The boat would be leaving any minute now, most likely. "I can watch her if you want." she finally spoke.
"Peep peeeeep!" Taranis chirped as he attempted to copy Iniko.

Dragonfly smiled weakly, and looked from Iniko, to Tarnis, to Yakobi, and then back to Iniko.
"I hate to leave her with a stranger... But this is an emergency. Iniko gets along with just about everyone though-- Oh I don't want to burden you Yakobi, but--" Dragonfly was obviously torn between leaving the Aerandir, and going back to the mainland, and her face screwed up as she thought over a decision, "I'd be very greatful Yakobi... Thank you so much,"
Dragonfly then smiled truthfully, and gave the other woman a quick hug, before pulling away and fishing for a small, delicate package from her pocket.
"This is Iniko's bonded item. She can't be far from it in this form. I'm sure you'll take good care of her, and if you need any help talk to Kiro, Iniko gets along really well with Tsukai, his Aerandir,"
She took a deep breath, before turning to Iniko.
"Kochan, Dragonfly needs to leave for a little while. I'll be back as quickly as I can, I promise,"
Had Iniko been a little more solid, Dragonfly would have hugged her, but since she wasn't she had to settle for smiling to the wisp.
Iniko stared at Dragonfly, stunned at the thought that her guardian was leaving. Dragonfly had gone to the mainland before, but this time for so long?
Iniko dropped her head, and nodded weakly, and Dragonfly pulled herself to her feet, and headed for the door, waving to her wisp.
"Bye bye" Iniko whispered, waving as her guardian left.
((Right. Feel free to RP Iniko as you see fit Yakobi, I'll be back as soon as I can, but for now I have to run and finish packing to go home. n_n))
