Foam-Dome Dystopian Lover Foam-Dome Dystopian Lover *loves on the pencil skirts too* <3 It's so funny, I am so incredibly busy but I am very happy with my life right now. I am at my unhappiest when I don't have ten million things on my plate at once. It's so weird how much I enjoy working under pressure and being stressed. xDInorite? They're so secksee~ I really wish I could say the same... D: I'd be out of college a lot sooner, I'd have a job, I'd have a driver's license... XD I don't necessarily think that enjoying a busy life will get you out of college any faster; I got a bachelor's in Psych in December and just decided to go back for another one, but in Nursing. I think I'm going to be in school the rest of my life, which is actually okay with me because I enjoy learning, but at some point I need to get a more high paying job and have time for one of those "life" things everyone's talking about. xD Well, enjoying work means that I'd begin taking more classes per semester... XD
I still need to figure out what I wanna major in... gonk Well, I changed my major a crapload of times. Let's see. I was an English major, then journalism, then human resources, then business administration, then biology, then psychology, and now nursing. I tended to change my major every time I took a class I really enjoyed... which was all of them, pretty much. xDDD At least I have one bachelor's to show for my work so far. Oh! And I minored in classical studies. xD I'm the most indecisive person in the world.

XD At first I thought about subjects that I had a genuine interest in, like astrophysics or archaeology, but then I started thinking about stuff that would be more practical in everyday life, like cooking or engineering.
AND I STILL CAN'T DECIDE. gonk

And archaeology is so much fun! Archaeology is why I was a classical studies minor. I took a whole bunch of archaeology classes - Intro to Roman Archaeology, Intro to Greek Archaeology, Egyptian Archaeology, Ancient Cities, and am now taking a World of Alexander the Great class that's just awesome. We're focusing less on the archaeological evidence and more on the sociopolitical aspects at the moment, which sucks, but the archaeology is on its way. You should definitely minor in it if you don't major in it because it's too fun to give up altogether.

I can sympathize. I'm an Accounting major, which is ok. My head agrees with that. My heart, however, is leaning toward earth science. I might add that as a minor. If only there were some way that they could merge...

XD I also love astronomy. I enjoy speculating about the origins of the universe and the properties of black holes and whatnot. :3

My mother invited me to visit her at work and feed some penguins. I really want to go because penguins are awesome, but I don't know if I should because I don't want to end up arguing with her. >_>

I spent the whole of 2 days with my bf and then when I went home I missed him already... I felt rather pathetic about it. Then I read a book and was fine. RANDOM

McDonald's XD They're letting me work hardly any hours and just in the lobby because they don't want to overwhelm me when I've never actually worked before. It seems doable, but I still feel all nervous and stuff x__X

Well, the orientation stuff from last night and this morning count as "work," like I already have 5 hours toward my first paycheck. I think tomorrow is the first almost real day of work, like they're training me a little bit more and then I might possibly be working for an hour or so.
And thanks. I know it's not exactly prestigious or anything, but I feel accomplished just for having SOMETHING to put on my resume finally... XD
