Gilraen enters the Office and sits near the back of the lobby. He sighs and rests his head back, waiting for someone to come out and give him an assignment. He closes his eyes, resting a little bit.
Diana walked in, looking around a little confused. This was the place? It looked like a dentist office to her. "Uhhh..." she felt instantly uncomfortable."Maybe this isn't a good idea...I shouldn't stay too long..." she thought, staying by the door. Why in hell would the Feather girl want her here?
Exceed soon moved past Gilraen towards the lady standing at his door, Diana Hainsworth, he wasn't even looking at her as he used his hand to motion for her to inside. He was looking at his clipboard of mass items as he soon said, "You came looking for work... am I right?" He asked of her as it was an obvious note that the desk was freshly put out, from a fire. "I would suggest getting inside deary." He told her before moving over to his desk and sitting down at it, placing the clipboard down as he waited for Diana to get in. His eyes had quite the glow to them as he blinked and the glow was gone. Moko was at his side, wagging it's bionic tail as it was looking to Diana. The inside may look like a dentist's office, but it was normally a guise to keep prying eyes from peeping around. He looked to Gilraen and then to Diana before he soon said, "I do have a job, but it'll require you both to perform it.... are we clear?"

Gilraen looks at Exceed and Diana, walking over to them. He listens to Exceed, and nods when Exceed informs him and Diana of their pending partnership. "Alright, that works with me." He looks at Diana and extends his hand. "Name's Gilraen. Nice to meet you, partner."
Diana walked in, a little confused and then he started to say things that didn't agree with her at all. She chimed in. "'old on a moment okay?" Diana said, crossing her arms. "I don't normally work with people so...uh..." she looked at Gilraen and then at Exceed. "You think you 'ave any solo jobs?" she kind of really didn't like the idea of working with a complete stranger.

'Exceed' Bladed Gunner ╔══════════════╗
Exceed saw as the woman was a tad bit against going with someone for a mission, just as he was about to grab paperwork too. He sighed and leaned back in his chair, in thought for the most part as he turned his chair around once. "You want a solo mission? How about this then... you can fight Gilraen, I want you both to show me your stuff.... the fight to the first one to be beaten... or to the first one to be exhausted of their energy. The only other mission is an S rank mission, which involves the Forgotten Gravesite." He told Diana, the mission of the calibur was likely to involve Revenants and other undead beasts. "I only wished you two to go on a mission together because I do not know what you both are fully capable of, and as of the time being, you're not good enough to take on the high ranked missions." He may be human, but even Moko was growling at the two of them, a sound of electrical wiring could be heard.

Gilraen puts his hands down. "Look, I'm not huge on working with others either. Having a partner adds a third element to any fighting involved in what I'm trying to do. It's no longer me and my target, but me, my target, and any partners I have with me." He looks at Exceed. "At the same time, the alternative option is likely going to be much worse. I'm already at a disadvantage because she knows I'm around, and so has the advantage of being able to prevent me from making the fight a ranged battle." He looks at Diana. "I'm willing to swallow my pride, and work with you. In my opinion, that's the better of the two options. What do you say?"
Diana sighed. "I don't want to fight 'im, I want a job." she said, and sighed. She REALLY didn't work well with others...and having to work with someone meant she might have to...talk to them...or...work together...things that she wasn't too good at. She shook her head. "Fine, I'll take the team job...BUT only if I get that S ranked job right after it." she said, crossing her arms. Yes, she needed work...but not that badly to be controlled by these guys.

Metal knocked against wood as a figure came down the hall towards the office. Caleb had received a gift from his family, new armor. This armor was beautifully crafted between Human and Elven smiths. He had a list in his pocket of ways to make the armor better. But that was something for another time. He passed through the archway into the office. It was becoming of Exceed as he was a Mechanist. His icy blue eyes set on the Captain as he was here to see him about some matters. But he was busy conversing with someone. As Caleb approached he looked to the one Exceed was talking to. His eyes widened as he looked upon a beautiful woman barely shorter than he with black hair. She carried a sword at her side so she might be here for a mission. He regained himself and looked to Gilraen, seemed that they all were discussing something important.

Exceed watched as Gilraen and Diana conversed, listening to them both before he heard Diana's demands. He sighed softly as she seemed to have a death wish or something before he looked at her, deep into her spirit. "Very well... you will work together with Gilraen helping our two golems fight off a sent wave of Mer. They are strong and reports suggest they have archers with precise aiming... so proceed with Caution." He told Diana and Gilraen before waving his hand to send them off. He looked to Caleb who had arrived and thought for a moment. "Go out and hunt down a Rogue Elven guard, she seems to be dodging questions and we need her here now."

Gilraen nods, but doesn't leave immediately when Exceed dismisses them. "Alright, so you gave us the details of what we need to do. Though you left out the part in which you mention just where we're supposed to do it. Where are the Mer and the Golems?"
"Note to self...once done these two jobs...leave...this place is not worth this kind of s**t." Diana thought, glaring at Exceed. She was going to let the Elf man do the talking for her, but she was not happy with this guys attitude.

Caleb eyed Gilraen as he got his additide with the Captain. While duly justified, but rude. The girl seemed unhappy about having to work with Gilraen. He looked to Exceed who had looked to him and spoke. A guard dodging questions "what is she suspected of?" he asked Exceed. He was trying to gather information.

"She is suspected of betrayal... that is what she is suspected of. I need you to go and subdue her." Exceed told Caleb as he was soon reminded of the location intel by Gilraen. "Ah, for you two... they've all been located at Pine Creek, proceed with caution. Caleb, she was last found at the Safari Guide area."
