Just as Raiku came back up with the tea he was able to catch some of the conversation especially when Senente thought it was his choic to choose the baby's gender, he comes in smirking,"Oh I see now....so I get to choose hmmmm....well in that case I might be picking a boy since having a son is the best then girls. Too many girls would cost so much drama." he says however Senente wasnt amused,"Oh please Rai having more boys mean more blood and bruises and you know how I do with blood and all that...not so great. Besides I'll be letting you decide and all that and when the day comes it comes better yet....I have a better idea." she thinks about it since she had been pregnant for a couple months now the baby should've grown by then.

"In the next couple months we'll go to Dr.Takoyo for a prenatal check up and see how the baby is doing...then we shall see what we will have." Raiku thought about it and thought is was a perfect little deal to see...besides the fact he thought of himself as always right there was that chance he might not get the upper hand knowing Senente and her string willingness. Both pf them agree at it and lay together Raiku poking at her belly making the baby move which frustrated her a little knowing he was literally picking with the baby.

He watches as the pokeball shaked a little and had the urge to come to it however when it went still and the small button turn back to white he was thrilled, of all the pokemon he'd caught on the island this new pig one was very important and in the end caught a rare one and was going to be excited to show his mother and father what he did which would be a great achievement especially in Senente's eyes. Picking up the ball Nasagah smiles as it shrinks back to fit into his pocket and looks around to see if he could find another and if not, he would have one to show.

Senente's grip grew tighter as Raiku tried to get free however it ment futile as her grip felt like she was taking all the blood circulation out of his finger,"Ok ok I get no more poking....you made a point now....please can I have it back." she grips tightly one more time before letting him go and as he shoke his hand to get feeeling into it again decides to go in the back to start the painting area as Senente was downstairs and he was upstairs on the balcony painting the first coat of white primer before adding the paint itself. It takes some time to get the few cornors and missing cracks but soon after painting the cradle was starting to look better than before and Raiku stops for a moment to look at it thinking about how Nasagah would go into so much trouble to make something for his new sibling.

Nasagah was very hesitent hoping it would go in however the ball opens up once again and out it came as well,"Thats right...mommy said that there are times a pokemon is strong enough to get out of pokeballs and have to be weakened a little." he thinks gong into his pocket for one of his pokemon taking out Pichu."He's an electric type so it should be string against a water type and....I'll be able to get it."

Pichu goes for a thunder bolt but misses and keeps going listening to every word Nasagah said as the water pokemon tried its best to win but minutes go by and grew tired from dodging, he had the chance now and tossed the ball waiting woth the same shaking and rocking of the ball till the button stop being red back to white.....it was finally caught. "I did it...I caught all three for mommy to study and she'll be very happy with me even more." he smiles at all three lying by a tree with his little pack as Pichu sat by him in a ball watching him nibble on a riceball Senente made earlier for him and his trip and as usual enjoyed every bit, looking around Nasagah piched a little bit of the cornor for Pichu to grab and nibble on as both of them laid in the shade for a moment.

Raiku heared her talking to him turning to look,"Oh, yeah I wanted to put it in there till the case finally came, I didnt want the children getting after it and possibly cutting themselves so...I thought it could be a temporary spot it'll be in another case by next week." He says looking back to the cradle and see the little pokemon almost popped from the paint making Senente smile, he too smiles holding her by one shoulder and rubbing her belly at the same time."I bet the baby will look cute sleeping in it and Nasagah had a good idea that way we dont end up crashing into eachother in the middle of the night...this looks great."

Even though the excitement of having the baby was still at its peak Senente was getting the complexed part with the bargain with the several other symptoms that came with pregnancy, from the slight weight gain, increased appitite, and to Raiku the worst of them...irritibility. There were a few times that she would snap for the most sudden of things or the children would mess with her enough they didnt want to be around her in fear but he had to set things right, telling them that mommy would act like she was because it was the baby causing it and so her emotions were a little off. Takoyo and Ayume were watching everything the entire time making sure that Senente's baby was doing ok though they knew the gender and everything however Senente and Raiku wanted it to be a surprise when the due date came.

Raiku was hard at work in the room putting the last touches on the cradle and from the last stroke of paint steps back to look at the work...he was really sure of himself on it and decides to conclude it letting it dry to show Senente the finished glossed cradle."Sen, when it gets done drying I wanted to show you the finished look of it but I need you to close your eyes to make it more suspensful, he says leading her upstairs however to her what she didnt know was that the past few months Raike had been hard at work woth the painting excuse to work on the spare room with everything set up for Senente to be awed, he was clever enough to use a pale yellow and not mistake choosing blue or pink and from sneeling a peek in the baby books read that yellow was better for the baby and waited for her to react,"Now...now you may look"

True she was excited about the new types of pokemon but priority was more than ever with Raiku being alert on things everything she did got him on the edge,"I know you want to learn more about them but we cant just stress out on sudden discoveries we have all the time in the world for it but for now...relax and keep yourself calm for a couple days and if you do that I promise you can study one and I mean one of the new pokemon." he says kissing her forehead as he went to put a few more things into the nursery. Clothes were a little hard to think on with not knowing the gender so for the time being they had a few onesies for the baby and one it came then the desicion on either boy or girl clothes., Everest kept up on most of the house work from cleaning to cooking like Senente did while Nasagah did most of the men work and from his thoughts and interaction with Raiku almost thought that he was becoming a little stronger then what he was before he was adopted to them, he was weak and defenseless hiding from all his enemies and fears being a bully himself for the comfort but it was a change, the change from feeling weak slowly dying down as he became more strong mentally thinking his job was to make his parents happy and be the best older sobling he could be once the baby arried. While Nasagah traveled on the trails he has Fang come along to collect a few pokeberries Senente had been craving for a long time mostly the Petraberry and melonberry having a sweet tooth.

It was only around four in the morning yet Raiku woke up to faint cries and movement in the bed, sitting up he sees her holding to herself with the expression of pain on her face,ideas were going through his head."Sen you alright? is the baby moveing too much?" he asks but gets a scream in reply and thought the worst and wished he wasnt thinking it...she was in labor pains. Cautiously he picks Senente up and called for Pigiot knowing time wasnt on his side for this,"Dont worry I know it hurts but I'm taking you in to Takoyo and everything will be alight." that is what he was trying to make it sound however from the beginning there were thoughts of complications with Senente being the size she was and her medical condition and as well the mont, it was only october and the baby was coming too early, Raiku didnt want to lose both of them at one time then what would he do? know his wife and newborn child were gone and he was left to care for his other two...it wasnt what he wanted to think about and shakes the thoughts heading closer to the hospital.

Once inside Dr,Takoyo was looking to them in surprise knowing it was early too but didnt waste anytime sending Senente in a labor room and set up, Time went on for a couple hours but to the two of them it felt as if half the day was going by painfully slow which was what Senente was feeling and it wasnt good, Raiku held her hand to soothe her but each wave of pain brought more misery as she started to snap at him however Takoyo warned him ahead of time that women in labor will have the tendency to shout at thir spouse but it eased the pain little bit at a time...so he take it as her grip became a little more tighter numbing his fingers slightly as she got closer.

Takoyo came in to check things as Ayume was cheking the moniters for both of them which wernt looking too good for both ends with Senente weal from the contractions and heartbeat a little faster than normal while the baby was not moving as much as it wa suppose to be,"Takoyo with how the situation is the baby is going to be premature with possible critical complication possible cause might be a scare of stress,and for Mrs.Hatchi as well she might go into a coma state for sometime since the baby might take much energy from her....we have to prepare for the worst." that wasnt something Raiku needed to hear, his thoughts from earlier ringing in his head but now wasnt the time to think that with his wife in all the misery she was in it felt like death was sounding great but he wasnt going to let her go just like that....he wanted to keep her forever and tried to be strong for her no matter the outcome. With the clock ticking on she was ready to go on as Raiku held her hand holding his tears knowing the aftermath to come.

His worst nightmare was starting to hapen as he was left in the room with Senente unconcious as if her life was drained from her face and the tone froze his senses as if he was thinking her heart had stopped and this was it....he didnt want things to go like this but it happened. Tears flowing and heart hurt Raiku held her close wanting her dearly to wake up but it was short as Ayume held him and Senente was taken out of the room,"We knew something like this was going to happen but for now we just hope were not too late, Takoyo is taking her to the chambers to be set up." Raiku never been there but remembered Senente saying they were for paitients tat were in coma states and were capsules to keep them alive and bodies from failing...he felt crushed as Ayume took him into the lobby to wait for anything else but as he sat down Sakura was there still in her pajamas with the children groggy and unaware what was happening as they asked where their mother was...how was he going to answer that even he didnt know what to say and simply hugs them both.

The day fell to night as he waited thinking the worst,"I lost my wife and my baby child....I dont think I can deal with anymore heartache like this." he says mixed in emotions from sadness to almost anger for not doing his best, at this point Raiku was blaming everything on him till the doors opened up and Takoyo came out with a neutral face,"Senente is in a stable condition however shes in a coma for a little while till her body can heal from the birth which might take days even weeks...were not so sure at this point." Raiku stands knowing something was slightly positive as he's walked into the chamber she was sleeping. Still surrounded by a glass cover Senente was asleep in peace as her body was healing and Raiku simply sat there and watched through the glass wishing he was able to hold her hand and feel her soft palm but he was caught between the barrier.....all he could do was wait then he turned towards Takoyo."Senente is pulling through but the baby?...where is it? is it in the nursery?" Takoyo didnt answer but looked down not wanting to give him more to worry about,"Your concerns is with your wife right now...we'll take care of the baby while Mrs.Hatchi is in this state....time will tell."

Though he never saw her as an infant that day the stories seemed to paint a picture, Senente right there barely near any life, almost like death was the only way to go at this point. Pale, motionless...nothing was there but it couldnt be, Senente was given the strong will with the help from the dragon was able to pull through and as time went on she grew from a sickly little baby to a little girl, then a teen to what she was now. True Raiku knew she had a few handicaps that made things a little more complex but he knew to think pass those small errors of the body to see who she was in heart and spirit....a fighter, thats what he had to believe in to pull through this rough bump in their path of love."If Sen was able to live on all this time then...hten she can do the same again I know she cant give up not if our love bond is forever eternal." Raiku whispers in a light tone
