I had to fight the urge to say, 'That's what I'm trying to do.' to Hotaru. I suspected that she knew who I was.
I said, "I want the Senshi to handle this, but they may be a little busy right now." That's when I mentally added, 'Like trying to hide their secret identities. I want to find out who they are, true, but I respect the fact that they want to hide who they are in case a disguised youma would want to kill them.'
That's when I looked at Hotaru's eyes. My eyes showed both compassion and determination. I said, "I know you don't want me to do this. But if you were me, Hotaru, would you let a monster, be it a bully or a youma in disguise hurt your friends and the people you care for?"

It took most of, if not all, of my self-control to keep from spilling the secret. I sighed a little but did not move. There was no way I was going to let Akira fight this thing. Where are the others when you need them? I wondered. I tightened my grip on his arms slightly and shook my head. "No, I wouldn't but..."

I had to fight the urge to spill my own secret, to which I suspected that Hotaru knew, but I had to fight another urge... I thought, as my heart beat faster the longer Hotaru held my arm, 'I... Really do have a crush on her.'
I grinned, "I guess this is checkmate, youma. It's over. You've lost."
The human disguised youma asked, "What? How?"
I explained, "Think about it. The Dark Spore possessed was a pawn, or a distraction. By eliminating the distraction, you're the only piece left on the board. On our side, we still have all the pieces on the board. If any of us moves, you're through. I'd say your mission to get what you need is a complete and utter failure."
The youma spat, "This game isn't over until it's over."
I replied, "Oh, but it is over. You just don't know it yet."

I looked up at Akira surprised as he taunted the youma. "Akira what are you doing?" I asked. I looked over my shoulder at the youma then I turned my attention back to Akira and moved a little closer to him. "Stop it! Don't make that thing more angry than it already is."

I replied, "I'm not taunting the... Thing. I'm merely just telling the truth, Hotaru. What he does is up to him. If he strikes, I will merely defend myself."
The youma surpisingly didn't move. It... Stood there. It didn't attack, or do anything else.
Then, the youma spoke. He said, "The target... Is right."

Ami and I arrived near Hotaru's mini-mansion. "Are you sure the youma is here?" I asked. She nodded and I sighed a little. The two of us hid from the people. "Okay! Here we go!" I said. "Venus Crystal Power, Make-up!" I declared. I transformed into Super Sailor Venus.
(Ami)
I looked over at Minako and nodded as she asked me a question. I watched her transform and then decided to follow in her footsteps. "Mercury Crystal Power, Make-up!" I cried. Once transformed the two of us ran over. "Hold it right there!"

I looked over and stared at the sight before me. "Sailor Mercury! Sailor Venus!" I said relieved. I knew that they could take it from here and Akira couldn't get hurt.

I looked up at the top of the house. I smiled, "It would seem as if some cool reinforcements have arrived."
The youma disguised as a human looked up. He yelled, "What? According to intelligence, there are supposed to be 2 senshi, one of whom we killed!"
I smiled, "Oh, you must mean my other friend. But I can assure you that there are more senshi in this planet than just my other friend."

I smiled and leapt off the roof followed closely by Mercury. I did a pose. "Don't take another step!" I declared.

I followed Venus and posed as well. "Youma this is where you stop!"

I looked at my surroundings and I looked at the youma. It was then that an idea struck.
The human disguised youma was confused. He said, "Geez, how many Senshi live in this planet, anyway?"
I asked, "Hotaru, are you and your parents all right?"

I looked at Akira and nodded. "I think that they are fine." I said. I looked over at Michiru and Setsuna and nodded again. "Those two are...but..."

I said, "I'll get to the house and take care of Haruka. It's the least I can do for you being my friend, Hotaru."
That's when the youma said, "You're not going anywhere, kid. Not until I have what you have in your posession."
I walked to Haruka's position, and I said, "I'm just a kid with many talents who's a fan of the senshi. It's not as if I'm the Knight that your comrade faced or anything..."

I moved forward and crossed my arms. "Hotaru you and your friends need to get out of here!" I stated. I looked at her and smiled. "It's good to see you again."
(Mercury)
I looked over at Hotaru as well. "How is your arm?" I asked quietly.

I peered at Sailor Mercury and nodded. "Yes, my arm is better." I said. I grabbed Akira's arm and tried to pull him away.

I mentally sighed, 'You're actually the first girl other than my sister to touch me.... Never had any contact with girls other than Sora..."
