Dimitri thought about Maria's question for a moment, pondering the best way to go about it. He seemed to have become the self-proclaimed ringleader and race director, and frankly, he didn't mind. Dimitri like being in a situation where he could control what was going on around him, that was a comfortable, safe place to be for him.

He hummed thoughtfully, looking first up at the sky, and then across the water. "Let's make it easy." He said with a grin. "We'll turn the boat around, and race back to the docks, then, on our next race, we'll come back out here." He hesitated slightly, contemplating what would happen after that. "Then..." Dimitri said, pausing. "Then we'll dock the boat and go swimming." He smiled at the girls, and then looked back over his shoulder as though to run the idea past Kedrick.

Kedrick looked up as Dimitri caught his gaze and frowned slightly. "I uh...I thought the swimsuits where only in case of a freak accident and someone fell in." He said, half hopping Dimitri would remember that conversation and agree with him. But the grin that was forming on his friends face told him otherwise.

Dimitri shook his head, the cat-like grin still playing on his features. "Nope." He said simply and plunged his oar into the water, beginning to pull the boat around to face the dock again.

Kedrick sighed, looking down. "alright..." He said reluctantly, and then began to help turn the boat. "Okay girls." He said with a small smile. "Back to the docks then."

The girls waited for Dimitri to answer Maria's question. Arielle found it interesting that they had been relying on Dimitri for almost everything so far since they had reached the campsite. Partially because they were new to the area, but she still couldn't help but find it interesting.

When Dimitri finally announced what they were going to do, the girls realized it made sense to turn back to where they started. Of course, they were a bit thrown off when he then proposed that they would go swimming afterwards once they were done. They didn't mind at all, but of course they were still worried about time.

Maria agreed with what Kedrick had said about Dimitri's earlier claim for the reason why they needed it, but she knew that he must have had a different idea than what they thought of. She giggled lightly and nodded, doing the same as Kedrick, Arielle following suit. "To the docks~!" Maria exclaimed excitedly, hearing Arielle giggle behind her as they positioned their canoe to face the direction of the dock.

Dimitri smiled as they waited for the girls to pull their boat around direction of the dock. Now that they were just sitting there, Dimitri could take some time to appreciate how beautiful the lake was. It was just getting far enough into the evening that the sky had begun to color. Pale streaks of yellow and pink where appearing near the horizon as the sun moved towards it. By the position of the sun, Dimitri figured they still had a good two hours before it got too dark. They could always return the boats to the rental shack and then swim, and besides, Dimitri thought it might be kind of fun to swim in the dark. He smiled to himself a little bit, the thought of swimming in the lake, then going up to the campsite and warming up by the fire, and most likely with hotdogs and marshmallows, was a very attractive one.

Kedrick glanced back over his shoulder at Dimitri and shook his head, smiling a little bit. Kedrick had lived with Dimitri long enough that he could tell whenever he had plans in mind. Right now, Dimitri had that slightly distant look on his face that told him he was imagining just exactly what the rest of their evening would be like.

Dimitri shook his head from the clouds as he realized that the girls had gotten themselves positioned. He made sure that the boats where lined up, and then looked over at them grinning. Even though his arms where tired from the last race he was ready to go for this one. "Okay," He said, leaning forward slightly, his eyes gleaming. "Ready....set....GO!" He said.

Kedrick began paddling quickly, having to adjust to Dimitri's more forceful stroke. He stole a quick glance over at the girls, but it was still to early in the race to tell who was winning. Kedrick pushed hard none the less, feeling, for a brief second, that competitive flare that Dimitri seemed to have all the time. Kedrick kind of figured, weather Dimitri acknowledged it or not, that it was because of his height that he strived so hard to do everything else so well. Chances are he had been teased quite a good bit about his height, that much Kedrick had seen just at the picnic. So in order to compensate for that, he worked hard to do his best at whatever else he put his hand to, and that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Since Kedrick's decision to become a psychiatrist, he found himself doing things like this more and more. Analyzing people and situations, it was something he was good at.

Dimitri began to feel his arms ache from the effort he was putting into his strokes and the canoe pushed through the water. He took his eyes away from the rapidly approaching dock for a moment casting a quick glance over in the girls direction. It was going to be a close race again, that was for sure, but as they come close to their finishing line, he and Kedrick where still just a little bit in the lead.

((You can decide the outcome of the next race if you want. ^w^ I just tossed a coin for these last two because I wasn't sure who should win XD So the honor of deciding the last race is all yours! ))

Well isn't it getting lovely out here? Maria thought with a small grin. She couldn't believe that it was already getting that late. It was almost like the day had just begun, in a sense. She waited for Dimitri to give the signal, who seemed to be lost in his own world.

Arielle didn't say anything, just like Maria. The quiet for all of them was peaceful and reflected the serene feeling from just sitting in their boats in the lake as the sky began to paint itself a different color, marking yet another sign that a day was drawing to a close. She looked over and blinked in surprise in what she thought was a swan on the lake, but it was only a goose. She pouted lightly, blowing some hair out of her face. She would've loved to see a real one, but she know she had other opportunities for such an occasion.

At the sound of Dimitri's mark, Maria and Arielle escaped from whatever distant thoughts they were in and paddled away, trying to maintain a comfortable speed, but not wanting to be too far behind. The boys were ahead of them, and they didn't want to push too hard just to catch up. From Maria's thinking, she knew that if the boys kept rowing too hard, that they would eventually tire out. She had whispered that to Arielle and the two of them planned a way that they could win without tiring themselves out.

Not too long the girls were finally close enough to the boys, only because they had put a little extra effort into their rowing. The sight of the dock meant that their cleverly crafted plan could finally take root. In just a few seconds, the two girls began stroking faster than before, saving all of their strength until that final push. They weren't even sure if they were going to actually make it, but in the end, the girls managed to finish on top as their canoe touched the land a bit.

They could barely exclaim in victory since the first thing they did was pull their oars back into the boat and groaned. The girls had rowed harder than they ever thought was possible and they knew that all they needed was just a bit of a break before the final round.

"If I knew...This was going to happen," Maria mumbled, "I wouldn't have suggested that third round..."

Arielle laughed softly and looked up at the boys, rubbing her arm lightly. "So, can we take a bit of a break before the final round?"

(Finally made it to finish this post XD. My attention span was awful, but yeah. Poor girls working their arms off = w =.)

Dimitri took a deep breath, already to call out their victory when he saw the girl's canoe out of the corner of his eye. "Wha-" He was cut off mid-sentence by the sound of the girl's canoe running aground. "No!" He exclaimed, standing up in the boat, rocking it significantly. Dimitri stared, his mouth slightly agape.

Kedrick meanwhile had seen the girl's come ashore and almost fell over backwards laughing. He clutched his sides, laughing hysterically and gasping for breath as Dimitri vented his comical frustration. He opened his eyes, drawing in a deep breath before his laughter stole it away again and he curled up on his side in the bottom of the boat. Kedrick reached up, grabbing the side of the boat and pulling himself up so that his face could be seen over the edge. "H-How did you do that?" He gasped, blinking his eyes rapidly to clear his vision. "W-We were ahead"

Dimitri looked down at Kedrick, not sure weather he was annoyed or amused by his friends reaction to the girls startling and unexpected win. Finally he gave in and smiled, grabbing the back of Kedrick's shirt, pulling him up. He looked up when the girls suggested a quick reprieve. Dimitri nodded once. "Sure," He said with a smile and sat back down in the boat. "How about we call that one a tie." He offered hopefully.

Kedrick shook his head firmly. "The girl's one that one fair and square." He said, stepping out of the boat and onto the dock, rubbing his forearm. Kedrick was glad the girls had suggested a break, he wasn't sure he would have been able to keep it up for another round.

Dimitri crawled onto the dock on his hands and knees a hint of a devilish grin on his face. He glanced over at the girls, hoping they were watching. 'if they're going to take a rest, they may as well have entertainment while they wait...' He thought mischievously. Dimitri made his way over to where Kedrick stood at the end of the dock. He stood beside him casually putting a hand on his shoulder. Kedrick had just looked over at him when Dimitri gave him a very friendly shove, sending him staggering forward.

Kedrick gave a cry of alarm, staggering a few steps, then running out of dock. Luke warm water surrounded him as he fell off the edge of the dock and into the water. He was disoriented for a second before pulling his head up above the water, streams of it running from his hair, the end of his nose, his ears and off of his chin. Kedrick smacked his side of his head to clear the water from his ears, still spluttering. The first sound he heard was Dimitri's manic cackle. He opened his eyes, squinting through the streams that trickled past his eyes. "Someone push him in." He said darkly, glaring at Dimitri who was still laughing to hard to respond to his threat.

"We really were lucky, no?" Maria asked quietly, almost as if she was asking herself. She had heard Dimitri exclaim his shock and surprise at the girls winning and soon the sound of Kedrick laughing hysterically. She watched from the corner of her eye as Arielle got out of the boat and stretched a little before returning back to rubbing her arm. At Kedrick's question, Maria could only shrug her shoulders, wincing a little, before she thought of her answer.

"It's really simple actually," Maria calmly answered, a small prideful grin on her face. Maria, if anything, still loved it when a plan she thought of worked out the way she had anticipated, and loved it even more when she got to explain it. "We knew that you guys would tire yourselves out at some point if you went all out, and I wanted to use that to my advantage. So, Arielle and I made sure to keep at an even pace so that we weren't too far behind you, but also by tricking you into thinking that we wouldn't make it. Then, just as you thought you believed that you could claim a victory, Arielle and I rowed with all of our strength and were able to beat you."

"It was really close though," Arielle added, "But it was a lot of fun and I hope you guys had fun that last round." She smiled and looked over at Maria as she got out of the, rolling her arm so that she could get some feeling in her arm. Looking back at the boys, she heard Dimitri try and see if they could call their victory a tie for the sake of Dimitri, but was glad that Kedrick was able to set him straight about the win.

"We have one more round to go, so you may win it, Dimitri," Arielle said with an optimistic smile on her face. Her eyes scanned to look for Maria, whom she had somehow manage to lose sight of in just those few seconds. She wondered if her friend had to go use the restroom or something, but she eventually saw her, still working on getting feeling in her arms.

Her head turned quickly as she heard a splash and realized that Kedrick was no longer there. For a brief second, she had almost panicked, thinking that something awful had happened to Kedrick, until she heard Dimitri start laughing. She hurried over to the edge and bent down, looking at Kedrick. "A-Are you alright?" she asked, even though she could tell there was no actual damage to him.

Maria heard the splash herself and stifled a giggle. She heard Kedrick's request of pushing Dimitri in, and thought Arielle would do it, but she was too concerned about Kedrick. Which was of no problem to her, since she also hoped that her friend was alright. With Dimitri and Arielle distracted, Maria treaded carefully, making sure not to make a single sound as she walked right behind Dimitri. As soon as she was close enough, she pushed him off the edge of the dock and into the lake. She waited for his head to submerge from the water before she smiled sweetly at him, sitting herself down on the edge. With her right leg crossing over her left, she leaned in so that her left elbow was resting on top of her right leg and her head was resting in the palm of her hand.

"Whoops~," Maria said with a sly smile, giggling lightly, "I'm sorry, Dimitri love. It seems like my hands slipped. I was going to hug you, but I just happened to push you in the lake."

Arielle blinked when some of the splashed water hit her in the face, but it wasn't too much so she was fine. She giggled at Maria's play of innocence and smiled down at Kedrick. "Looks like you were able to get your revenge on Dimitri, don't you think Kedrick?" she asked, smiling at him.

(Gotta love Maria for this = w =.)

Kedrick smiled reassuringly at Arielle, "I'm fine, just..." He frowned. "Wet..." He looked up, scowling at Dimitri, who was still cackling like a hyena. Kedrick stopped, a curious expression on his face, truthfully, he was trying not to smile. This was because, unlike Dimitri and Arielle, Kedrick could clearly see Maria's whereabouts. He bit his lower lip to keep himself from grinning prematurely. Only when Maria was directly behind Dimitri did he let the grin split his face.

Dimitri, still grinning himself, noticed the expression on Kedrick's face. "Hey...what are you-" He said suspiciously, but that's as far as he got as he suddenly felt Maria's hands on his back, shoving him into the water. With a cry of shock, the dark hair boy fell forward, closing his eyes in enough time to keep the water out of them.

He resurfaced, spluttering to get the water away from his mouth and wiping his eyes. He kicked his feet back and forth to keep himself up, the water was surprisingly deep off the end of the dock.

Kedrick smiled over at Dimitri in a teasing sort of way, and then looked back up at Arielle. "Definitely." He said, glancing back over at his friend who didn't seem to know quite what to do about this turn of events. He had his mouth slightly open, like he wanted to say something,. but couldn't quite find the right word. He also looked like he was on the brink of either laughing, or shouting. Of course, if he did end up shouting, it would all be in good fun.

"Oh did you slip?" He asked in a patronizingly innocent tone that mocked her own. He smiled, wading over to edge of the dock again and smiled in a reassuring, gentle manner. "Well, I guess it's alright then, even if I am soaking wet." Dimitri shifted slightly in the water. When suddenly, he braced his feet against the dock, grabbed Maria's ankle, and pushed away from the dock, dragging her with him.

"Well, that's good," Arielle said, with a small sigh of relief. As long as he reassured her that he was fine, that that was all that mattered. She moved some hair out of his face and noticed that his facial expression seemed to change, the frown disappearing. Arielle was going to ask him when she heard Dimitri's voice, his cry of shock, and the splash of water.

She giggled and continued doing her best to fix her boyfriend's hair, even though she knew it was pointless. "Well, I'm glad that's made you happy, Kedrick. Never thought Maria would betray her own boyfriend like that."

Maria smiled in this cute, innocent way, but her eyes had the mischievous look to it. Her attention soon turned to Dimitri who was back on the defense, which made her grin. Her eyes watched as he waded over to her, her whole attitude seeming a bit cat-like as she watched him. She laughed at his comment about him being soaking wet. "But darling, weren't you the one that said that 'Someone is going to fall in the lake'?" She asked with that same grin on her face, "And here are you and Kedrick, both fallen into the lake. So, I have to say that you had what was coming to you."

Of course, she didn't know how her last words would bite her in the butt when she felt Dimitri grab her ankle and pulled her in with him. She screamed in surprise at the quick transition as she braced herself for the water. As soon as most of her body had been submerged into the water, she started kicking with her legs to break free from Dimitri, doing her best not to send her mind into a panicked state. She knew that if her mind panicked, her body would panic and it would believe that she was drowning.

As soon as her legs broke free, she resurfaced and started coughing up the water as she kept herself a float. She rubbed her eyes and made a face at Dimitri, splashing him playfully with water.

"Well, looks like you got what was coming to you as well, Maria," Arielle teased with a grin. She dodged Maria's splash directed towards her, but lost her footing and fell off the dock into the water, shouting in surprise at her clumsiness.

(Now everyone's in the water~.)

Dimitri grinned at Maria as she surfaced, pulling back, his hands in front of his face as she splashed him. He laughed quietly, dashing the back of his arm across his eyes to get rid of the water droplets. This of course did very little good seeing as his arm was just as wet as the rest of him. Dimitri pushed his dripping black hair back away from his face. "Arielle's right!" He said, breathing a little heavily. "You asked for that one."

Dimitri had actually been waiting for this kind of fun since they had started planing the camping trip. He glanced at Maria, and then gestured for her to be quiet for a moment, holding a finger up to his lips. With a small smirk, he disappeared beneath the water.

Kedrick swam over to were Arielle had hit the water, making sure she had her head up. "You okay?" He asked, hardly able to keep from laughing. "That was quiet a tumble you took, you didn't hurt yourself or anything did you?" Kedrick had only just paused to wait for Arielle's reply, when suddenly he felt fingers wrap around his ankle, jerking him under the water. He gave a startled cry and disappeared from view.

Kedrick thrashed under the water, momentarily panicked. He cracked his eyes open under the murky water just long enough to catch a glimpse of a familiar, pale skinned, dark hired figure. Now that he wasn't panicking, Kedrick thought a moment, before giving his assailant a solid whack to the head, or a solid as a blow can be under water.

Both boys surface, gasping for air and laughing. "That hurt!" Dimitri said between laughing and trying to breath.

"you scared me." Kedrick countered, "And you probably gave the girl's a heart attack."

Dimitri shrugged noncommittally. "Maria knew." He said with a smile, treading water and turning slightly to look back at his girlfriend.

'Traitor..." Kedrick mumbled under his breath, trying his best to look sulky.

((This probably could have been a lot better...>.< ))

Maria made a face at him, so tempted to just dunk him in the water. She could only grin and wave it off, pretending that his comment wounded her pride. "Whatever, whatever. Just wait until the next race, and I'll kick your butt with Kedrick," she teased, a playful smirk appearing on her face. She was about to say more when Dimitri had given her the signal to be quiet. She closed her mouth and nodded, wondering what was in his head that time.

After Arielle resurfaced, she blew the water out of her nose, shuddering just a bit. She looked at Kedrick and smiled sheepishly. She was surprised about the fall and was looking around to make sure she was alright when the next thing she knew, Kedrick had disappeared under water in an instant. And in that instant, Arielle began to panic yet again and she was almost tempted to swim down under to search for him.

Maria was sure of what Dimitri's idea was as soon as Kedrick went underneath the water. She swam over to Arielle, who looked like she was ready to hyperventilate, when they saw Dimitri and Kedrick come back up. She heard her friend sigh in relief as Maria smiled gently, laughing to herself at the two boys.

"Now, to be honest Kedrick," Maria intervened, "I didn't know that Dimitri had planned to drag you to Davy Jones' locker until after the fact. But I should've seen it coming."

"I'm just glad you're alright," Arielle said as she swam over to Kedrick and held onto him, "I was scared for a bit, but now I'm fine."

Kedrick smiled at Maria, doing his best to keep his head and shoulders above the water and not get it in his mouth or eyes. The mud from the bottom of the lake felt pleasant between his toes as his feet kicked back and forth to keep up out of the water a bit. "You're right," Kedrick rubbed the back of his neck, "you ought to have warned me though." He said, still teasing lightly.

Kedrick blinked, a little bit surprised when Arielle swam up, wrapping her arms around him. He hesitantly placed his hands on her back, and smiled gently at her. "I'm alright, I promise, Dimitri was just fooling around." He reassured, and ducked his head a little bit, kissing the top of her damp hair. He pulled back a bit brushing the side of her face with his fingertips. "Now come on, let's have some fun M'kay?"

Dimitri rolled back, so he was floating on his back, craning his neck so he could see Kedrick and Arielle. He smiled to himself, seeing the sweet exchange between the two of them. It was almost laughable, they had come so far from when Dimitri had first seen them as a couple. That had been the day he had convinced Kedrick to introduce him to this 'girl that was staying at his house, strictly platonic, only just a housekeeper, with whom there was absolutely nothing going on with.' But one look at the two of them had convinced Dimitri that his best friend felt something special for this girl. And while, yes, there had been some complications with his own rather confusing feelings for her, once that had been straightened out, Dimitri had grown to completely and fully approve of their relationship. It was kind of nice to see these cute interactions between the two of them, and he did feel a twinge of guilt for scaring Arielle like that.

He turned himself around in the water, once again treading to keep his head up. Since he was a good few inches shorter than Kedrick, his feet didn't brush the bottom of the lake and he had to work a bit harder to keep himself up. He paddled over to Arielle, smiling, and playfully patting her on the top of the head. "I'm sorry I scared you Arielle, I won't do it again." He said somberly, nodding his head in a very, very serious manner. Then he smiled, and slowly, with very deliberate purpose, pushed her head under the water until it was completely submerged and then let her back up. He cracked a smile. "Now, you have my full permission to dunk me, splash my, etc...whatever your heart desires." He said, bowing his head so that his nose touched the water.

"Well, next time I have the ability to read my boyfriend's mind and now what he's plotting, I shall gladly prewarn you," Maria responded with a small grin, "But until then, you'll just have to settle with my complete lack of knowledge on this kind of stuff."

"I-I know that," Arielle responded with a small pout, "I still want to make sure that you're alright though. I mean... I don't want to loose you..." She didn't say more as Kedrick kissed her forehead. She smiled warmly at him, her body tingling when she felt his fingertips touch her skin. She looked up at him and grinned with a nod. "Alright Kedrick," she responded cheerfully, "I can definitely do that."

Not too long afterwards, Arielle felt someone patting the top of her head, and she knew that it couldn't have been Kedrick, so she knew that it was either Dimitri or Maria. Turning her head to face the person responsible, she noticed that the person responsible was actually Dimitri. She looked at him and listened as he apologized for worrying her about Kedrick. She smiled and didn't know what to say for a bit, especially when he offered for her to get her revenge on him. "Dimitri...," Arielle started slowly before feeling something move against her feet. Her body tensed up and she tried her best not to panic, again.

Maria had chilled out away form everyone else long enough and knew that she needed to join the rest of society. Without a second's thought, she went under, swimming to join everyone else, brushing against Arielle unknowingly. She rose up from beneath them and poked both Dimitri and Arielle in their side with a giggle.

"Maria!" Arielle squealed in surprise, looking at her friend. "Now you're turning into Dimitri!"

"At least I didn't pull you under," Maria said with a small grin, looking over at Dimitri with a sly grin before going under, pulling him down and pushing him over. She swam back up and started laughing. "And THAT'S for pulling me into the water, love~!"

Kedrick blinked, a little suprised when Arielle stiffened, with his arms around her he could still feel every move she made. He was about to ask her what was wrong with bubbles rose from the depths and Maria's head and shoulders popped out of the water.

Dimitri pulled back, clapping his hand over his side with a short cry of alarm, plus, it had tickled. He laughed at Maria, shaking his head. Only Maria could get away with something like that. Dimitri looked up in mock-hurt when Arielle commented about her turning into Dimitri. "Arielle!" He cried, placing a wet hand on his chest. "You've injured me, I'm cut to the quick! You've brutally torn out my heart and-" He stopped mid-sentence, just long enough to catch a glimpse of Maria's devilish smirk, decide he knew what was coming, and take a deep breath. Sure enough, a second later, Dimitri found himself submerged again, thrust back into the water by Maria shove. Dimitri surfaced, fighting the ever-loosing battle of trying to keep his messy dark hair out of his face.

Dimitri wiped his eyes and then smirked, placing his hands flat on the surface of the water and resting his chin on top of them, blinking at her with utmost innocence. "Well, Don't forget Maria that you started it, you pushed me off the dock, and then I pulled you in. Hence, the blame lies with you darling." He finished with a victorious smile.

Kedrick shook his head, "Nope." He said simply, clearly disagreeing with Dimitri's statement.

Dimitri blinked. "What you you mean 'nope'?" He asked, a frown appearing between his brows, ever he didn't quite see Kedrick's logic on this one.

"Don't forget Dimitri," Kedrick started, relinquishing his hold on Arielle and swimming over to where the others where. "You pushed me into the water first, it was only after that that Maria pushed you in and then you pulled her in. If you followed me, that puts the blame back to you." Kedrick said with a small smile.

Dimitri blinked, trying to grasp what Kedrick had said. "You're stunning Kedrick, somehow you mangaged to twist that back on me." He said, shaking his head in disbelief. Dimitri smacked to top of Kedrick head as he gave a modest mock-bow.

After a moments thought, Dimitri braced his feet against the dock like he had when he had pulled Maria in and shoved away. Dimitri felt the water resisting him as he pushed though it, bubble as his gushed over his shoulder. He pushed himself out a good ways away from the dock and ducked under the water, diving down and trying to scoop up a handful of mud from the bottom. Dimitri wasn't entirely sure what he was doing, but then again, goofing off without thinking about what you were doing is was was supposed to happen on a trip like this. He resurface, a squishy handful of gray-brown mud he had pulled up from the bottom. Dimitri squeezed the mud out from between his fingers, letting it drop back into the murky water.

Kedrick blinked, and swam over, frowning curiously. "What are you doing?" He asked with a soft laugh.

Dimitri shrugged. "No clue."

Arielle giggled after Dimitri pretended that his feelings were hurt by her comment about Maria turning into him. She had to agree with what Maria had said so. Had she not accidentally fallen into the lake, she would have probably been the only one who hadn't been pushed or pulled into the lake. Of course, if that had been true, she would've faced the same fate as the rest of her friends.

Of course, before Dimitri could even finish, and before she could even fight back with her own claim, Maria had attacked Dimitri, obviously getting her revenge from earlier. The two came up shortly and after Maria commented about getting revenge for getting pulled into the water, Dimitri was ready to fight back.

Maria made a playful face at Dimitri, obviously not believing that pushing him into the water was her fault, especially when it was Kedrick who wanted it for his revenge. Luckily for her, Kedrick was ready to prove Dimitri wrong, and she smiled when Dimitri had given up after he realized, in her opinion, that he had been defeated.

With the discussion now dropped, the boys seemed to relax in the water and the girls followed suit, lazily swimming around and wondering who would win the next race, as well as trying to figure out what more they could do throughout the week.

"If we were at the beach," Maria started, "We could be looking for some seashells. Boy would I love to find some seashells."

"I'd love that too," Arielle agreed, "However, I'm sure there are a lot of interesting rocks here, and where there are rocks, there are nice, smooth flat stones that we can use to skip on the lake. And maybe we can have another competition with that."

"Sounds like a great idea," Maria commented with a grin, "I haven't done that in awhile since my brothers and I went camping. Hopefully it won't be too hard to pick up again."

(Moment of brain deadness is over~! Hope this is good = w =.)

Dimitri wasn't entirely sure what happened next. All he knew was the before he could blink, he and Kedrick were wrestling in the water, trying to dunk each other under and thrash each other around. Frankly, Dimitri didn't know why, of course, it may have had something to do with the mud he had just graciously deposited on Kedrick's head.

Kedrick grabbed Dimitri's head, shoving him under for a safe amount of time until he saw the water churning with bubbles. He took his hands off of his friend's head, and watched him bob to the surface.

Without wasting any time and with water still in his eyes, Dimitri slapped his hand across the surface of the water, spraying it in Kedrick's direction.

Kedrick laughed, pulling back and trying to block the water from spraying directing in his face. "Okay! Okay! Enough, I give up." He said, still laughing. He reached up, frowning slightly as he realized that he hair with still gritty with mud. "Hey Dem, there a shower place around he somewhere?" He asked, thinking that it would be nice to shower at least some of the mud and pond scum off at the end of the day. He was sure the girl's would feel the same.

"Yeeaaaahhhh...." Dimitri said slowly, a small frown appearing between his eyebrows as he thought about where exactly it might be. He turned himself in a slow circle in the water till he found what he was looking for. "There," He said, pointing back towards the shore. "If you look to the right of our campsite, there's a wide path that leads up a hill to the restroom, shower house thing. There's also a water pump up there that we can get fresh water from, it's a bit of a walk up the hill but it's not really a bit deal." He finished with a shrug.

Kedrick squinted, but it didn't take him too long to spot the wide, well traveled path up the the restrooms. "I see it." He said, and his gaze dropped back down to the shore. He could see the girl's moving towards the shore, seeming to have another activity in mind. "Hey Girls!" He called, loud enough to make Dimitri jump with surprise. "What are you doing?" He asked, raising a hand to the side of his mouth to amplify the sound.
