"It was hard to sleep," Lin murmured before giving Rhea a look.
Oh yes, last night was most interesting, she hoped their hosts never find out about that. It wouldn't seem good to know that they had snuck into the castle even if they didn't go far.
"By and by was it?" she glanced up at the tower as her way of asking if it was the same one.

Rhea giggled at Lin. "It sure was. Rather friendlier when you're being escorted as a guest, yes?"
Earendil frowned up at the two as he helped Alena up onto the dragon. "What are you talking about?"
"We'll tell you later," Rhea winked. "After you've rested, perhaps."
Earendil sighed and climbed up behind Alena. The gentleman in him was willing to help Leyenda up as well, but he knew that Kelirahc would prefer that honour, especially so that the two young lovers could sit together.

Lin giggled at Earendil petting him on the arm once he joined them. She knew he must be feeling quite out of the loop, but she was sure he would appreciate the story more after he got some sleep. Honestly it was amazing she was still speaking straight, how many languages had they gone through already?

Earendil allowed himself a faint smile when Lin patted him on the arm, and he had to fight to keep from leaning forward against Alena's back and falling asleep on her. Soon, he promised himself, sitting up straight.
In only a moment, Leyenda and Kelirahc were both on the dragon's back as well, and then they were up in the air.

Lin kept an eye on Earendil all the way back to the ship. She was very well aware how much less sleep he got than she did. She was at least somewhat functioning. Him less so.
"Will you be okay?"

Earendil's eyes were half-closed as they flew through the air, but at Lin's question he leaned forward a bit and opened his eyes a bit further. "I'll be fine," he called back to her. "I just need a good sleep ... and I would do anything for a hot bath."
Though how that was possible, he didn't know.

"I can't say anything about a hot bath, but as soon as we get you to your room you can sleep."
She was worried he was going to trip and fall or something if left to go to his room alone at this rate.

"Mm." Earendil's eyelids were lowering again, and it was doubtful if he heard anything - what with there being two people between them, and the wind that was whipping around them as they flew through the air, it wouldn't be surprising.
It was only a moment later that they landed on the deck of the ship, and Arwen and Roydon were the first to rush forward to greet them, their eyes anxious.
"Are you all right?" Arwen burst as she helped Earendil down from the dragon's back. "Haldia's only been speaking with Celeb since she got back, no one else here speaks the Ancient Tongue and-"
"I'm fine," Earendil interrupted her, holding up one hand. "Just tired. I'm going below. Rhea and Lin can fill you in on what's been going on."

"Do you need someone walk you to your room though?" Lin inquired.
She really didn't want him to be tripping down the stairs or anything he looked like he was going to fall asleep on his feet or face depending on how that went.
Lin paused a bit and then looked a bit worried.
"Where's Shiro?"
He could have translated if they really needed one for Haldia.

"We couldn't find him," Arwen admitted sheepishly. "He's somewhere below decks, he was looking for something, I think ..."
"Still," Roydon put in, "I'm sure if it had been something terrible, Celeb would have made sure to tell us. So while we were worried, we weren't panicking."
He eyed Earendil. "Lin, help him belowdecks. Leyenda, Kelirahc, make sure Haldia is all right. And you-"
He broke off, blinking at Alena. "Who are you?"
Alena smiled calmly at Roydon. "I apologize," she said politely, bowing her head slightly, "but I do not speak your language ..."
"Ah, Common Elvish," Arwen smiled. "I know your tongue." She motioned for Lin to go with Earendil, then turned back to their guest.

Lin giggled at that before taking Earendil's arm. Looking up at him she smiled.
"Let's get you to bed," she told him before leading him to his room.
She did remember where it was, she had spent a few times in there during the travel though it was mainly to find Senka.

Earendil leaned heavily on Lin, his eyes just about closed as he stumbled after her.
"So tired," he mumbled under his breath. "Don't want to use ... elven sleep ..."
The darkness of the hallway didn't help matters much, and he kept bumping into the sides of the walls as they headed for the stairs.

Lin stared at the stairs as they got closer. She really hoped that Earendil didn't trip, because at their height difference even though he was quite light weight she didn't think she could stop him because he could just fall right over her.
"We're almost there," she assured him.

"Mmhmm."
He really seemed out of it as he followed Lin down the stairs, his eyes fully closed now. The door to his quarters was open slightly, and it took no effort at all to open it all the way. His window was closed, but uncovered, and he squinted into the light. "So bright ... after the hallway ..."

"I'll get that, but first you need to be on the bed because I'm worried you'll fall," Lin told him.
Once then she could cover the window, besides he was going to be sleeping for a long while anyways.
