David scooted his chair close to Eva so he could speak to her under the radar of prying ears. He lit up another cigarette and began to eye the other patrons.
"Look at all these crazy characters. All of them from different backgrounds and even universes. Things we only thought to exist in little kid's fairy tails walk around here. I'm telling you, Eva we could make a fortune." David whispered.
"I don't get it." Eva replied.
"Think about it, Eva! All of them fight and kill each other in that arena. No doubt a few of them have a rival or two. Eventually, somebody is going to want a gun for hire." David replied, still whispering.

Question glanced at Skutz dancing and stifled a laugh. "Nah, I have a feeling that the dream will resolve itself. Unless it's a vision of the future like that eclipse dream I had, and I'm going to end up at a castle at the edge of space and time itself." He took a swig of the beer. "But what are the odds of that?"

Wrapping his arm around Vii's shoulder, Gallon smiled and nuzzled his face into her luscious pink hair.
"I have not my love," he said while watching frogs explode, a visual effect rendered by a potent herb he was smoking with his free hand.
On his second pass in front of Vii's nose he offered her some of his pipe and she accepted it graciously.
From their booth, a light cloud of THC floated towards the ceiling and soon, a thin layer blanketed the rafters.
Leaning further and further back, Gallon soon became embedded in the cushion of his booth, eyes glazed over.
Visions of war and vehicular manslaughter became his world, warping his vision completely thanks to the odd herb.

Skutz noticed Zach's predicament when she stopped dancing to catch a breather and approached (her) him. "Same thing happen to you?" she asked as she drank down Vii's drink.

"Very likely considering the way the gods tend to...ignore odds."
She shook her head slightly, heightened senses picking up on everything in the Tavern and trying not to imbibe any of it.

Zach turned his/her attention to Skutz when (he) she approached him/her.
"I guess," Zach replied. "How did you end up like this?"

Leaning over to her husband she whispered in her husband's ear, "She's like me now."
Sliding out of the booth with her husbands appeture in hand she danced around the center of the tavern lithely singing along and stirring the air around her patrons, adding to it.
The medicine didn't do much for the vampire, but every now and then the world would become bathed in a rainbow light, and things would become distorted and oddly troll like.
Giggling girlishly from the toxins, she bumped into Skutz the girl, David and his scary looking alien assistant, and Zach causing them all to briefly collide.
"Oh excuse me." She said still through fits of laughter.

David looked over at the guests and patrons in the bar, all having a good time and laughing it up with each other or having friendly talks. His eyes scanned from one patron to the next, but they never stayed on one subject for more than a few seconds.

"Boredom," Skutz replied dryly, "apparently the Fates have a sense of humor. If you're transformation is of a different reason, you could talk to Alnette, I know she changed herself back from a male, somehow." She looked up and down at Zach, "at least you good as a female, you know?" Skutz then fell from Vii's run-in, "Vii, wtf girl?"

A quick spell ensured that Emma would keep her mental clarity that night, no matter what happened around her.
She watched the bounty hunter like a lioness watching a gazelle, tracking his movements.

Vii broke into another fit of giggles as she tried to help the gray haired girl up, accidentally using more force than she realized and tossing Skutz across the room.
"Whoops!" She called as she returned to her side to help her up this time very slowly and carefully.
Offering the lit pipe to Skutz she was thankful the gender curse hadn't effected vampires, that she knew of.
The floor swayed in hues of pink and purple for a moment and the faces all seemed to be grinning blankly at her. The little vampire blinked twice and shook her head, giggling again.

David being an experienced bounty hunter, had better senses than the average human. He was soon aware that Emma was watching him, though he didn't show it.
"Heh heh. Don't look Eva, but we are being observed as well." David whispered to his slave.
Eva was playing with her head tail nervously. "Can we go, soon?" she asked, uncaring.
David smiled and patted her leg. "Eva, don't worry. I'm not going to let anybody mess with you."

"Well I don't know about-," Zach was cut off by the collision and staggered to one side before regaining balance. She was going to finish her sentence but simply watched as Vii casually tossed Skutz to the other side of the room.
"Never mind then," Zach sighed.

Skutz shook her head, "none of that right now, Vii, maybe later." She winked back at Vii and returned to Zach, "hoo, sorry about that. Where were we?"

She continued to observe, knowing that he had noticed her.
Her curiosity was piqued, and she would have answers to her questions before the sun rose.
