Eh, crashing isn't that bad. Though since you're going to live on a budget it's probably for the best that you cut out anything that isn't necessary, like ramen.

rofl Yup. I got a 19-meal plan, since my mom couldn't fathom why I would ever want to stray beyond the cafeterias @_@ Though to its credit, UCLA seriously has the most amazing dining options. Their cafeterias look like mini hotel lounges, with food to match.

A little bit - I'd be lying otherwise - but I feel like there's so many ways to stay in touch now. It's kind of funny how when I was applying for college, all I think of was getting out of state.
